Since only 2 of you actually bothered to think of a nice pampering treat (on my blog) I'm going to delay revealing details of the task by an hour.

Better idea is blog system and accounts for pets on site without external services

I have multiple Google account, get next to no spam.

Google seems to have one of the better spam preventions systems.

This is something Dan and I were planning.. Blogspot will just have to do for now.. Nice to see lesub used his initiative though

I have several googlemail/gmail accounts and a google blogspot none get much spam.
my isp email address has never ever been used and it gets more spam than google.
Just don't spray your account around.
look in my previous posts about web safety
I have repeated it several times.

But then I wouldn't cross a free-way, motorway blindfolded either.

really? did you ever bother to check your spam folder in googlemail? I have a google account aswell, never gave away my email-adress never posted it somewhere, just made one so noone can "steal" my name. It didnt take 2 days till the first spam mails arrive. Right now I get roughly 120 spam mails every day. Sure yes they all get sorted out automaticly by google, but still for a email adress I never handed out? and I am not even using at all?

I get no more than 2 per day. Some days I get none at all.

And you don't need to post your email address about to get spammed. Can also be effected by what sites you sign up to using that address or if it's a common address it will be more likely to get randomly spammed.

Is the name part of your email used in another email?
if so its a calculated guess.
Get mailwasher and bounce the spam and it will stop.
