Teasing and Prostate Health

Post by driptip »

Recently I have been showing symptoms of prostatitis, and was prescribed some medication. The plan was that I would be on the medication for two weeks, and if it wasn't working, then I would have to go on a second medication that would unfortunately affect my sex life for a month.

Naturally, my brain went straight to "I'm gonna have to hold out for a whole month," in a be careful what you wish for scenario! My ex and I had often joked about me holding out for that long, although the longest she made me go was 13 days. I'm sure she would have been amused by the latest predicament.

I'm on the second medication now, but it doesn't seem to affect me, so I'm not sure what the doctor meant.

But, in doing some more research, I read that prostatitis can be caused by "prolonged sexual excitement without ejaculation," and that it is inadvisable to hold back ejaculation to prolong sex. So for now, no teasing and no edging for me :/ . There's a concept, denial from tease and denial heh.

Does anyone have a related experience?

Sorry to hear you are not doing well. :-(
Hope you get better soon.

At least you don't have the C word (Cancer)
Enyoy orgasms!

Question: Were you able to talk to your doctor about your life-style
(tease Denial)
I feel uncomfortable sharing with anyone other than You all and my wife.

Thanks. Hope the post didn't come across too whiny! It's more just an interesting observation related to this site. I'll take some meds and be fine, and I'm thankful for that (and orgasms!).

I didn't mention the lifestyle to the doctor, and wouldn't feel comfortable unless I felt that it was definitely necessary (if the problem progressed, etc.). Lately my only "lifestyle" aspects have been prolonged edging before cumming. I'm hoping to find someone to share the lifestyle with, but haven't had the willpower to deny myself for long on my own. I used to be so good about it too!

I have a few close female friends that I've thought about sharing it with, but it's not an easy thing to do!
