Milovana Hardware - Separate forum?

Ok guys, my idea was: Since the hardware client and related software will be public domain, it would make sense to have a separate hardware forum, where ideas can be discussed. Then we can manage access to this forum separate from the regular Team forum, which will remain for Team members only.

I'll leave the decision up to nilcum - the options are:
- No separate hardware forum - we'll use the Team Forum
- A separate hardware forum - no public access, but we can let interested Parties in
- A separate hardware forum - public access

Everyone's opinion is welcome!

I think this would be the best choice since it's isolated and can be
controlled alot more effectively ;) :D

I'd opt for a separate hardware forum - no public access, but we can let interested parties in too. If it's OK with the team I'll issue a call of participation for the project. Those that express an interest will be added to the forum.

Seraph0x and I were kicking around the name Tantalus. What do you think?

Great name I like it :D

On top of that a separate forum will certainly make the
contributor feel special and keep them focused on the task
at hand so to speak ;)

Go ahead. Use the Announcement forum, but keep a professional tone and triple-check for spelling and grammatical errors please.

Since there seems to be a consensus I just set up the Milovana Hardware forum and group. Nilcum: To allow someone access to the forum, please click on "Usergroups" in that little navigation bar at the top. Then select Milovana Hardware. On the next screen there is a box to add new members at the bottom.

In fact, I'll move this thread over right now.
