Hi
I don't seem to be able to upload images
Don't get a progress bar... just sais error uploading "image name".
Not using any weird file formats... it's just a standard jpg.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Uploading image error
Can you go to Adobe's Flash Player version check page please and see if you have the latest version (10.0.45.2) and that "Local File I/O Enabled" shows up as "Yes".
You can also check whether the jpg file you're trying to upload is on a local hard drive (as opposed to a network drive or similar) and whether you can open and use normally inside other programs.

Re: Uploading image error
Anything between you and Milovana? Firewall, proxy, router, that sort of thing? That stuff shouldn't, but can interfere with the upload. (Although that doesn't really fit the error message.)
You could go to Client Detection and hit the magic button. That'll send me some info on what browser you use, operating system etc. Maybe I'll get an idea from that.
Finally, the uploader will get an update pretty soon (maybe even today, depending on when I fall asleep at the computer
) so that might make the problem go away as well, you never know.

Re: Uploading image error
here's the client detection info:
Browser: Firefox 3.6 on Windows!
Adobe Flash: Version 10.0.45
Window: 1024x583 in 1024x768
Current Time: Tue Mar 30 2010 21:18:49 GMT+1000 (AUS Eastern Standard Time)
and yeah going through a proxy but i've been using it for a while. havn't changed anything between now and when this used to work. How about I just wait for the upload update you mentioned. Not so much a problem right now. Got someone to upload them for me so set for the moment. No point going through all this trouble trying to figure out what's wrong if that might fix it. How will I know when it's been done? Will you make a new post when you do the update? or perhaps you could leave a reply here?
Thanks for all your help.

Re: Uploading image error
Couldn't be more standard. This is exactly the browser and Flash version I'm running as well.gah wrote:Browser: Firefox 3.6 on Windows!
