You have to allow extra time for cleaning and drying no matter which design you choose. Yes, the cb3000 is more enclosed, so for me it's more difficult to keep clean... to even dry out after a shower. I had to take qtips and a blow drier to move the penis from side to side while air blows through to get everything dried. Too bad because I like it best for comfort (still being sports and outdoors active), design (easy to hide, easy to pee while wearing), and cock isolation (unable to get any sensation through it. Very frustrating and teasey)! It is small and tight for me, but streamlined.
The cb2000 for me has been easiest to keep clean since it has an open design, but it is very small and tight, painful at times, and uncomfortable to sleep in. I was able to sleep easier in the 3000. I could also pee easier in the cb3000, since it has an open slot at the end. The cb2000 has the bars, and there's always one in the way causing the stream to shoot in several directions.
The curve for me is in between the 2000 and 3000. It is definitely more comfortable than the 2000, larger, somewhat easy to clean, although it has that more enclosed design than the 2000... If you're patient enough with cleaning, I'd go with the curve, more because of comfort. Take the time to be thorough in cleaning it regularly and you'll be okay.
Hope that helps. By the way, I did wear the cb2000 for 46-ish days without cleanliness issues. How long term is 'long term' for you? How active are you? And with these, size matters. Good luck and keep us updated.
