hi, im working on my first tease and im trying to use one photo for each of the women i plan to use, but because im trying to write a narrative theres quite a lot of text. do you think it can work to have one photo then a lot of writing? im thinking it forces the teasee to use their imagine a little more, and if i get the text right they should work in tandem. i must admit though as i look at the pics i kind of really want to see full sets, but then maybe that kind of frustration is what works best?
ideas would be welcome

Re: words and pictures
I don't think there's necessarily any right or wrong answer for this question. It's all subjective anyway. So, ask yourself what you're going for and do that. Do you want to be artistic? Do you want to appeal to the majority? Are you trying to reach an audience with a specific fetish? All these would be considerations. <-- That's my non-answer
Here's my real answer --> Since you're posting in the forum I'll assume you're looking for feedback on what would be the most popular choice to make...so I'll just give you my opinion and take it for what it's worth (no "cocky" responses to this please
). No matter how you do it, I prefer a tease that captures my imagination and holds my attention in a way that leaves me wanting more. There's no worse feeling, in my opinion, that that moment when your interest turns from the feeling in your loins to cleaning up the mess on your belly! In other words, a tease that can convince me to stay with it all the way through...and not cum...is a good one in my opinion. That being said, I've found that the teases I like balance great writing (without overwhelming the user) with great images.
I hope that helps. Good luck!

It's really a bit of a "guessing" game to be honest. There's such a wide variety of interest here that pretty much which ever style you choose, someone will like it, someone won't.
The best advice is to simply write it the way YOU want it and don't worry so much about the audience. There's pretty much an audience for everything here anyway.

That's an important point really. Of course, if you never allow release...what's the point? The point is to keep the user holding on. If they know there is no chance of release, then why bother? yes, one needs to build and build and build and then Kapow! i think with full photo sets one knows where its going, but with more controlled images the tension can be kept going more easily because the teasee is using their imaginations to think where the tease is going.

Sounds like you have a vision. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Re: words and pictures
I don't think you can match emotion and picture if you don't use more than one photo of each woman. I suggest looking at several teases already on the site and seeing what you think works. Then write and revise until it really works for you. If you are writing a story, you might get some ideas from some of my teases, like Lori's Fantasy-Based Teasing or Tonight An Orgasm will Cost You. These use many different pictures of the same woman. For seeing the opposite of this advice, look at Bad Tease, which catalogs some mistakes.jmexico wrote:hi, im working on my first tease and im trying to use one photo for each of the women i plan to use, but because im trying to write a narrative theres quite a lot of text. do you think it can work to have one photo then a lot of writing? im thinking it forces the teasee to use their imagine a little more, and if i get the text right they should work in tandem. i must admit though as i look at the pics i kind of really want to see full sets, but then maybe that kind of frustration is what works best?

Re: words and pictures
I tend to prefer teases that lean towards the scripting rather than just the imagery. So yeah! I'd encourage you to write away! The brain is a sexy organ and all that! ;)
Good luck.

Cactusman, while I see you're point I have to disagree. One tease that I've seen recently is called wankholic and it uses many different models effectively, so does "Wanna bet?" and "Wanna bet again?" I agree that you have to be careful when using only one picture of each model, but it is possible to do.cactusman wrote: I don't think you can match emotion and picture if you don't use more than one photo of each woman. I personally don't like tons of text on one page of a tease. Maybe two paragraphs Maximum with six lines per paragraph is the highest I would go, but like others have said. Just do what feels right to you and you'll at least interest some of the users. I think the biggest factor would be your writing skills.
One mistake I made in my first two teases (I still need to fix this someday) is I kept writing come instead of cum. No one mentioned it, but I still wish I hadn't done so. Maybe have someone proofread it before you post it, just to double check your work. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
(sorry for the lengthy post).
Quaz.

BTW, here's the URL for "Bad Tease": http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showtease.php?id=6619Quazwierdcev283 wrote:Cactusman, while I see you're point I have to disagree. I agree it's possible to use different models, even on every page. However, that doesn't usually help support a story. If you're trying to tell a story, you are usually going to have to have the same model appear on different pages.
I agree with the comment about not having too much text; it's hard to avoid sometimes if you are trying to tell a story, but limiting the text to what fits next to the picture is a good idea. I also think using very short paragraphs is best. If you have someone you trust who can proofread it, enjoy that!
But ultimately it's whatever works for you, as the author, so as with all writing and art, you have to revise, revise, and revise again. Use the "preview" function in the editor a lot.
