Miss Spelling

Hi all,

I'm trying to get a feel for the community's opinion regarding spelling and grammatical errors in webteases. Particularly, do people think that having webteases edited for such mistakes is worthwhile or does it impede on the writer's work?

Fill out the poll and leave a message - I'd love to hear your feedback!

There are some cases where poor spelling adds to it, but for the most part I think it detracts, and I don't see why authors should be anything but happy if bad spelling in teases they contribute to the community are corrected.

I voted yes. I think quality is a big aspect for a great "teasing experience" and spelling is the most distracting thing in some teases.

Also, I think we can exibit that badly spelled teases get lower ratings, so that would support the suggestion aswell.

I think those team members who do the editing are capable of deciding whether the wrong spelling adds to the atmosphere or not. We can always get in touch with the author if this is unclear.

It's a good idea. English is not my native language and i often have problems and think about how i have to write a sentence. I spent more than the half of the time to search for words and phrases :book:

But hey this is a lot of work...

I vote YES. What good is a tease you cannot understand? Of course, it goes without saying that for effect, some words or phrases will be deliberately misspelled. If used with a good sense of placement and ambience, that sort of thing is very effective.

THANKS for the poll. ---doink.
