Re: Editing my tease
This happened to me before and I had to delete every page in my tease and start over. Something about images caching on the server side. There's a post somewhere about it in the Technical Support section.
Re: Editing my tease
Hey guys, I keep getting questions and complaints on this issue (understandably!), so I thought I'd elaborate a bit on what is going on.
When Milovana first started out, we didn't have a lot of users so we just a ran a regular old server and everything was fine. As traffic grew we eventually had to start using a CDN.
A CDN is essentially a bunch of servers that store copies of your files so you don't have to. They are the reason we can send out 5 million images per day on a very tiny budget.
Unfortunately, the CDN keeps it's own copies of every file. So when we edit a file on our end, the CDN doesn't know about it. This leads to all manners of strangeness when changing images or deleting pages. Technically you could wait a few days for the cache to clear, but obviously that's not very practical.
So what to do? Unfortunately, it's complicated. Right now images are named after the page number they belong to. To fix the caching issue, each new image would have to get a new name. That would require some fairly extensive changes to the editor, which right now I just don't have the time to do.
The two options you have are creating a new tease once you've decided on the order of the imagse and copying all the pages over or waiting a few days for the caches to clear.
Right now I'm fighting spammers, but once that's done, I'll definitely try and find a solution for this problem.
