As I mentioned in my introduction, a couple of weeks ago I downloaded the classic webteases and began going through them, editing spelling and grammar as much as I could without destroying the integrity of the tease. While the benefits to me are pretty tangibly nifty, it's getting pretty slow-going and I still have about 200 left. I'm thinking this amount of work would be something I'd prefer to share, so before I continue much further, I'd like to know a few things:
1) What kind of interest is there in a project like this? If there's a sincere amount of support for editing the teases, I'm thinking it's more likely I'll finish them all up and possibly upload them or... whatever it is that people would like to see. I don't have a specific plan, so ideas would be nice.
2) If I did upload them, is there anything I need to be worried about as far as creators rights and general legality goes? On some of the more incomprehensible teases I took a few creative liberties and tried to add some voice or clarity of instruction, and on one I went so far as to change a picture that was somewhat off-putting (though the original is stashed safely away somewhere). This was originally planned as more of a personal collection, so I didn't really consider the ramifications of making these available to the public.
3) Does anyone ever read Paul54 teases, ever? Because, seriously. Ow. I'd rather just set that file folder on digital fire.
Let me know what you think.
Spell it out for me?

That sounds like quite the project you've taken on, Sub-Routine. Great work, and I'm sure people will really appreciate your efforts here.
In terms of interest in the project, my recommendation would be to do a few and upload them and then see how people like them. That way you don't flood everybody with a couple hundred teases at once, and you can see the fruits of your labors as you work.
In terms of creator's rights, I think the general rule is going to be to make sure to give credit where credit is due. This won't be the first time that some people have been inspired to redo/edit/translate/improve some of the classics, and as the database shows, the authors usually try to give credit to the original author in the title and then maybe a note in the first page.
If you've just translated (from "english" to english
) it, I would probably make sure you simply give credit to the author in the title: "College Girl Tease (by soandso)." If you do more to it than that -- adapting, improving, adding, materially altering -- you should probably take some credit and say something more along the lines of (adapted from soandso).
As for teases you don't like: I'm sure we all agree that there are some teases that are... less worthy of adaption... in the classics section. You're doing this voluntarily, and if you don't like a tease, and particularly if you don't want to keep looking at it as you update it, then don't bother. Seraph0x did a heck of a job adapting those teases into his system already, and there's not really a whole lot of reasons to move them into the new tease section unless the tease is really worthy of that kind of work and attention.
Anyways, I look forward to seeing some of your adaptions and changes, and to perhaps finally being able to enjoy some of the classics!

I don't think it would be a very smart idea to start uploading those classics along with the regular ones, fire, as then things like the quota system we've been discussing would go totally bonkers, not to mention that the tease list would be flooded and, well, uploading would take forever.
My view is: It's a great effort you've taken on and if you do finish it, send it to me and I will make sure it's adequately distributed, both as an update to the old Classics package and on the website itself.

Well all right then. I'm not sure how I'm going to send that many files to you, probably zip em or something? But it'll be a few weeks yet before I'm done anyways.seraph0x wrote:f you do finish it, send it to me and I will make sure it's adequately distributed, both as an update to the old Classics package and on the website itself.

So, 130 teases was a lot more difficult than I expected. Makes for a good story, though:
I finally hacked together a half-decent chastity tube out of homemade parts, something I've been playing around with for a while, and did a few of the chastity teases, specifically Playing Games 8 and 9. Wow. Hard, arousing, hella difficult. Then I vowed not to cum or remove the makeshift belt until I was done. So I just spent a very sleepless night and day looking at the internets more arousing teasers, making efforts to make them more specifically arousing to grammarphiles like myself, all the while locked tightly in my first successfully stable chastity belt. That was pretty intense. Everything's all spelled out, though, so now I just have to reorganize them the way they were and figure out a way to get them to Seraphox. Should be done within the week, maybe within the day.
