From his posting:
Anyone interested in this next batch can DM Darkmatter69 on Joanne's E-stim Discord.
Currently offering the box complete with the main unit with expansion hole, clip, case (black), set of cables and the battery.
Asking $250 per complete kit. If you don't want it assembled its $50 less, no case/clip combo is $5 less, no battery is $10 less. Other colors are $10 more to buy the filament. I do have White, Translucent Clear, Soft Pink, Orange and Red availible at no charge.
If we get more than 10 people the price comes down to $225 per complete kit assembled, and if over 15 people its $215 per complete kit assembled.
Planning to get these ordered in about 2 weeks to give people time to join in.
If you're outside the US I can quote the shipping cost for you. Having the battery is not an issue going anywhere. Customs and Duties is around $30-70 USD you pay directly to the shipping company.

Re: Group buy/build for FocStim V4.3 - US/Worldwide
Thanks for setting this up. Unfortunately, I'm not comfortable with putting my info out there to order one and I don't use discord. I know this became a big project that started out as kind of an open-source deal with parts lists, schematic and all. Is there any plan to do the same with new version or future versions. I'm more comfortable doing my own build than providing PII to a non-business entity in a discord server. Not trying to come off as rude, just asking what others are probably thinking as well. If the plan is not to release the files, which version is still DIY friendly and what version of restim should be used with it?

The files were released last year. This group buy is organized with these files and there are probably more than 200 boxes around the world that were already built in few group buys we had :)47dahc wrote: Fri Jul 10, 2026 1:50 pm Thanks for setting this up. I understand the concerns, I actually like to have that dimension of connecting with real people, and do not have a problem to have some mutual faith - I see no reason to ever "out" any of them (not that buying or selling a diy electronics box is or should ever be something that negatively affects your reputation), and for same reason I do not see the reason to fear for my own information, nothing more than if I sold someone used laptop or vr headset.
Of course, if you don't want to participate in group buy you can always build your own - all info is on that github, but build 5 because that is where the price starts to go to ~100/piece, if you go for 1 it will probably cost 200-300 due to PCB setup costs.
