Feedback
Feedback is greatly appreciated! I have tried to balance the game to achieve a reasonable difficulty and tease duration. Please let me know what you think. Also please feel free to share what ending you got and how you liked it.
Bug Reports
Please report any bugs, typos, or other issues in this thread. The game has a lot of writing, code, and branching paths, and I am only one person. Please forgive me if there are any mistakes. If you let me know, I'll do my best to fix them as soon as possible.
I only played two rounds and did not find any bugs, but I had trouble telling the difference between gray and green on my screen. It seems that having strong contrasting colors would be important for this game. Thanks.
Just had a quick look and it seems interesting enough to actually come back and play it for real.
One QoL improvement if it is possible:
I need to click each time before I can type the next guess
I think that might be annoying when otherwise occupied with the game, switching between mouse and keyboard with the one available hand. Could that be fixed?
EDIT: pressing tab first activates the text box so that's an easy solution for now.

Pretty neat programming :D
Thanks! It's been forever since I used JavaScript so it was a bit of a struggle at first.

I only tested it on two devices, so it's very possible it looks different on other screens. For now, I hope you can mess with the brightness or contrast settings to make it easier to play.

I found this super annoying too! I think it's just a quirk in the eos engine, but if anybody more experienced knows a way to fix it I'd be happy to update it. Using tab is a nice trick.
I loved this one!! I hope it gets to TOTM. Glad to see customization options becoming more popular. I got the Kimiko ending. Her section was kind of cringe but in a cute way.
I think you could mix some teasing in between the guesses to break them up a little bit. My attention span might just be cooked though.
