Long-time lurker here — this forum has been my main source of new Cock Hero releases for a while, so first of all, thank you to everyone posting here.
I wanted something I could use to throw together quick Cock Hero charts for my own favorite videos and songs, without learning a full DAW or video editor. I couldn't quite find what I wanted, so I built it. Sharing it in case anyone else has the same itch.
make_hero_notes is a small browser-based chart editor + player. Everything runs locally — no server, no upload, no account.
Try it:
- Live demo: https://zingy-scone-f1f357.netlify.app
Source: https://github.com/pianyon/make_hero_notes
Movie: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Xk974R ... sp=sharing
- Editor — set BPM / Offset, build patterns in a step sequencer, arrange them on a timeline, export as JSON
Player — load chart JSON + your audio + (optional) your video, and it overlays falling notes synced to the beat
Built-in metronome to help you nail the offset
Theater mode (Ctrl+Enter) for clean fullscreen playback
- Pick a song, find its BPM and offset
Build a few patterns (verse, chorus, etc.) in the step sequencer
Drag them onto the timeline, set repeat counts
Export the chart, load it in the player along with the video, hit play
- Single-lane charts only (one note stream, no left/right or multi-color lanes)
No funscript export — it's purely a visual chart player
No automatic beat detection — you enter BPM manually (or tap-tempo it elsewhere)
I'm a Japanese native speaker and lean heavily on AI to write English, so please forgive any awkward phrasing. I read English fine, just slow at writing.
Thanks again for keeping this corner of the internet alive.
