OSSM - Open Source Sex Machine

Has anyone in the UK bought or built an OSSM? I have built a traditional fucking machine with cheap parts from ebay and it works remarkably well, but I want more - specifically, depth control.

The OSSM looks very good, but I'm a little wary of ordering as the full kit is about £500, and I also worry about privacy. Just looking for any experience or advice.

I built one a while back, I just got the control board/remote from them, and sourced most of the other parts from Ebay and used AliExpress for the motor. If you buy the whole thing from R&D, you'll need to pay import duty as it arrives into the UK as it's over £135, and whatever shipping company gets used (it was UPS for me) will probably charge a handling fee then as well.

I ended up purchasing the board and remote through their Etsy shop, as then VAT was handled already, and it went straight through customs with no issue. The box it came in was discreet, so you shouldn't have any issues there.

If you're comfortable building stuff and have a 3D printer, you'll save quite a lot sourcing parts elsewhere and assembling it yourself, they have a full list of everything you need on their GitHub (https://github.com/KinkyMakers/OSSM-hardware), along with the 3D models.

I also built it a while ago, i use it from time to time.
I also sourced all parts and printed everything on my own
Only bought the board.

Thank you both, that's really helpful! I didn't know there was an Etsy shop so that might be an easier option. I'm more than happy doing the building and sourcing components, but I don't have a 3D printer so will need to get those parts too.
