For ferdinand, I like to propose a suggestion to explore developing what you're thinking as a stash plugin. The timing of your post is impeccable because I have been floating the idea of something similar for some time. The StashTV/StashGifs plugins are already a start in the right direction. I have been trying to work through how to add an interface that would allow you to steer what clips are selected based on tags/performers/scene markers.
I think building around an existing platform will make it much easier for others to get started as well as enable others more to more easily contribute (I'd like to take a stab at this too). A lot of good projects here have struggled to get momentum from being a little bit too technical IMHO.
Trying to keep this short but I think this is a great idea and I've wanted to see something like TeaseMe integrated with Stash for some time. I'm also prototyping a websocket connector for Stash <--> Restim so that funscripts can be automatically loaded and synced with whatever is playing. I think we have a really good path to turn lolol2's great E-stim Tower into something even more interactive and customizable.
This is a fantastic idea! Stash can already handle import, tagging, and scene selection. Audio might be a challenge to mix in real time. I have no idea if a browser could manage multiple audio devices. Restim integration would be awesome!!

yes, the app is basically be a smart video player. you import your videos from your HDD and your own music too. tho some music will be shipped with it already so you can start faster and more easily. all legal and safe. that's the point.
I was thinking if it could be using file from the internet but that's probably not really feasible. atm you import the video files and it creates a library grouped by actresses in the videos. so each round will get a different girl. but later i would want to make different kinds of sequences/rounds, not only 1 solo performer per round. but that's the state now which i want to nail first.
yeah that sounds pretty dam good to me, I'd use that especially when I find a new favourite actress (changes all the time lol).
it would also be pretty cool if you did another version that somehow detected PMV/CH rounds/stages and spliced them into whatever format a user chooses
e.g. pulls random/filtered rounds from Canto and The Moderatoris series and replaces the beat meter with a RL/GL bar which can be slightly tuned by the user
P.S. How do you use the Quote feature properly mine always either quotes the whole chain or does this shit

But I wanted to have a feature to be able to use preedited videos like this or their parts. Either you or someone already cut the given round from the original cockhero and import that as a round and you would tell the app like "there is a beatmeter" to not generate a new one on top. Or it doesn have one and you add your own markers onto that music track that is playing inside and the app will generate a beatemeter on the fly for it. And this round would be placed inside the generated sequence between other rounds. But this feature will come later.
- Funscripts: Every single CH and PMV has a funscript that I use during my Quest/Edge2 combo sessions; some of them custom-built with FunscriptDancer, since there was no funscript ever made for them
- Privacy: I want to practice the hobby without any of the IT behemoths knowing what I like and why. All my collection has been built up gradually, over VPN-ed connections. I use Linux since way before it was famous, and know how to stay under the radar.
- My own tags: I use tmsu and have a completely tagged collection, with the tags that *I* am interested in
- I play the videos with Milovana/monsieur_so's Python script, from a network isolated user; and my VR Helmet is connecting to a network-isolated VLAN, where an SBC serves the entire collection over minidlnad.
If there's enough interest in the setup, I can write up a guide - but it would not be for the faint of heart.
I would love to hear about how you set this up! And the custom fun scripts - are they estim?

estim, funscripts for OSR2, associated videos, and other interest
started collecting prior to PH purge and mostly content that gets dmca pulled like compilations and pmvs but other fetish media that i don't want to have to go searching for and OF/Clips4Sale dls
just wanted to say thanks to all of you who voted and shared your library stats, much appreciated! it confirms that people actually do save a lot locally which is great.

that all makes sense :) ngl i'm really hoping this project of yours works out well and its available for testing/use somewhat soon (no pressure ofc) cos i've got the beginnings of an idea for a Frankenstein's Monster style CH iykyk

I really hope it will be soon ready for closed beta. I will create a new thread for it when the time comes
