IDEA : Cock Hero H2H League

Hi All,

I was pondering the following idea (obviously rules to be defined more rigorously)

• Each "Game Week" has a specific CH video selected

• Players will be paired up for the given game week

• Players play the CH video of the game week and report back on how long they lasted

• The player who lasted longest "wins" the match and gets 3 points, if both players last until the end then they both get 1 point.

• Repeat over the course of multiple game weeks to decide the winner

• Tie break on total cumulative time from all fixtures

Clearly this will have to be honesty based (unless people want to film themselves and submit evidence of their "achievements")

Thoughts, feelings, ideas?

It's absolutely a nice idea for a challenge.
For me personally, however, I run into a problem here, as I always reach the end of a CH when following the beats.
So, it's unlikely that I would have a lot of fun with the challenge.

Apart from that: do you plan on only using a certain duration for CHs? Because I think that it should be discussed before the challenge what the maximum duration of CHs is. I don't think many people would go with a 2+ hr CHs on a regular weekly basis, but then again people who like to edge and goon might be bored if it's only a 15 minute CH.
So, maybe there needs to be some categories with CHs of different duration or something like that.

It's a good point regarding video length. I guess frequency of matches would also be a question.
Would there need to be a rule about not "enjoying yourself" a certain number of days before the match? Or would it be that the only time you get to is during a match and so it would potentially make it progressively harder for people who do find them too easy?

For a proof of concept, it might just be best to have a variety of video lengths to see what people prefer / what works what doesn't.

I see a few have said they would be interested, so feel free to drop a DM with any suggestions and maybe your favourite video that could be a fixture

I'm not in charge of this league, Faboosh would be better able to answer you than me
but season 2 has just started: Cock Hero H2H League : Season 2

Registrations for season 2 were mainly done at the end of the season 1 topic: Cock Hero H2H League : Season 1
(and by private message)

It might be too late to join season 2, I don't know.
I also don't know if there will ever be a season 3,
but I would advise you to follow the season 2 topic: Cock Hero H2H League : Season 2
to stay informed of possible future season(s), if there should be any..
And to cheer for me... or not..

Again, I don't want to put pressure on Faboosh, (only on my opponents for season 2 ), I'm just trying to provide some answers and the links to the topics that might help you get answers.
