As to your questions, some people will like, some won't. A lot of us like the rules we've made or built (I've used mine before I joined the forum). Welcome . I don't think you should downplay yourself so much. I'm not much of a storywriter either, but I've still been praised for my writing even so. Sometimes it's as simple as finding a random gallery and getting an idea. Other times, you have some ongoing narrative. For example, we're all pretty familiar with the succubi narrative from Desertfox' maze, and we've extended that quite a lot.
