How do you get started with making stimfiles for video teases?

Good evening,

long time lurker, interested in how to getting started with making custom stimfiles, especially for syncing to videos since I'd like to get into making video teases. Are there and guides or resources y'all could push me into the direction of? Unfortunately I couldn't find anything specific via the search function.

I'd only need help into getting into the stimfile side, the making of video isn't a problem for me.

- How to start at all?
- Which programs / plugins to use?
- How would the workflow look like? (Like especially for triphase; use one individual track for each Left channel and for right?)
- Are there any guides to estimate how a signal may feel without needing to test everything immediately after making a change?
- Anything you need to consider for triphase signals?

I imagine this would be a superb use-case for Reapers ability to sync the audio to video. But how do I generate I good feeling signals and do so without spending 80% of the time with testing if something works?

I'm on cachyos linux, have a windows dualboot but would like to avoid needing to get into that.

I have created a bunch of estim creations and all of my knowledge was condensed into a tool that converts stroker scripts into restim scripts (which can drive estim devices or produce mp3 file for stereostim):

I usually use OpenFunscripter or PythonDancer to create initial stroker script.

Thanks! I'll make sure to give this a try. However, I can't find anything specific on how the conversion works... How would I go about it for e.g. pain signals and is there a way to control the behavior for thiphase or is it solely automatic?
