… and try to edge for the category images instead of stroking for them .. that also helps.
I already try to do that, but it usually takes some time for me to get warmed up enough before I am able to edge (also when looking for cat pics I might get soft again). That's why I often start with just strokes. But I do them fast and I try to edge, and once edged I can edge for the rest of the pics. I just don't like spending a lot of time at one image trying to edge right at the beginning.
I think I'll wait a while before starting a new game, so the challenges will feel "fresh" again.
Maybe it would be fun if winning a game had some aftereffects/consequences for a next game? Either good/bad/both?
Could be something like: "you get to keep the XP you've gathered, but, you will now have to pay 3 for a double dice roll."
Or maybe roll for a curse/weakness/category that will affect you for the whole game, or until the game gives you a different one?
Or: from now on you'll roll two categories each time and edge for both of them on the last pages..
Most of the above will make a game harder, so it could be combined with something like : 1 free roll if you don't want a specific category, or 1 free veto to skip a square (where you'd normally pay 10XP), or 1 bail-out where you'll go down 5 instead of 10 if you fail a task.
Another idea could be to not stop the game at all after a cum square and let the player just roll a random square after cumming and continue from there..
Just some ideas that I think could maybe add a bit of variety to subsequent game-plays. It could even be different consequences for different cum-squares to make it even more random.
