The files are large due to their 8K resolution. They were created using Avidemux's copy function, ensuring no video compression, which improves the VR experience.
Thank you very much jtcrave69 for the compressed torrent:
I have a Quest 3, but I've never watched videos like this. Do you have any recommendations on how to stream it to the headset from my computer?
Edit: Get DeoVR on steam, connect headset to pc via Steam link. Pick local file and navigate to where the file was saved. Set the video to side by side and then 190 Fish Eye. Switch audio device to Speakers (Steam Streaming Speakers)

Thanks for the effort, would like to give it a try, ... but, ...
- Really, 13 GB for 9 min seems (8K or not) like total overkill to me.
- An alternative compressed 4K version would be nice, I think that would be enough for most use-cases
- Such large files could always be a problem to download, please split. (In example 7zip can split files to whatever desired file size, IMHO 2GB would be a good size, 4GB okish, but shouldn't be more than that).
Thank you! I enjoy your work and a VR release is a pleasant surprise!
I took the liberty of re-encoding to a smaller file size, still 8K and high quality (~15 Mbps). 3.10 GB total. I can't tell the difference on my Quest 2.
@OneSugarHoney; Would you be willing to share the project file or a list of cut marks with me? I think I've got funscripts for most of these videos already, so could easily assemble an interactive script that follows the action if I know which parts to copy
Is there any theme to the 3 different edits?
Quickly skipping through them, they all look and sound very similar - sounds and clips taken from the same places. Just wondering if there's anything to recommend one of the edits over either of the others.
They do look and sound really good, but I'm not sure if I would get much more out of watching all three compared to just one of them repeated.
