I have them unlocked. I wasn't sure about the hard mode, maybe they were all hard. The bonus rounds did only show up on easy in the beginning and then not again, but then this might have been just bad luck.
What I meant with respect to the pause mode: I want to be able to press certain keys while playing without triggering pause. For example to look at the time. So I just didn't like that it is triggered even by functions keys. I would be fine with an option disabling the pause feature completely.
I don't get the limited pause feature. I can always just stop stroking anyway? Or do you mean because the game stops running when you switch to another tab? If that's the case you can circumvent that by keeping track of the time. Browsers suspend javascript in background tabs sometimes, but if you have a regular timeout like every second you can just detect when the time jumps. I could leave fullscreen anyway. Pressing ESC does not trigger pause in fullscreen. And then I can change tabs clicking outside of the screen. I will be able to work arround it, but it is just bad usability the way it is.
Also, as I said, I do not get really how the reward thing is supposed to work if you do not go for it on the first possibility. There are no further notifications that you could press a key to enter it. I do not really care about the rewards as I usually do not cum using CHs. But I just do not get the idea really.
For a game like this it would also make sense if there is a goal to be reached that maybe increases each play through and if you reach it, you have 5 seconds to press a key and cum or something and if you miss it, it goes on till the next opportunity.

To clarify about rewards, you can hold any button during any round to end the run with the reward video for that round. It won't work at the very beginning or very end of the round, but basically any time there are beats on screen, holding any button will trigger the reward and end the current run with a reward video. It sounds like I'm not communicating this well enough, though, either here or in the game.

Im having issues with v1.0.7, downloading to local version is causing it to be super laggy, when I play videos it stutters constantly and I cant fix it with different browsers, I went back to try the old version and no issues.
Edit: Additional info - playing it on the website works flawlessly without issue.
Also, not a fan of the pausing. Feels way too long and too easy to accidentally trigger it without a way to cancel it, which is a massive mood killer.

I finally had a chance to try this cock hero. The videos are really well done, and I liked the editing a lot. Overall, the experience was great. There were just a couple of things that kept it from being absolutely legendary. First, the number of rounds is pretty limited. This means that you are going to have repeat rounds by the time you finish hard mode. Even after you earn the bonus rounds, there are not enough so the whole experience can be fresh as you go through it. Second, the beat meter is not synced well with the music. I had to turn off the beat sound and just guess what pattern it was supposed to be. It wasn't usually too tough, but the sync issues were bad enough that I couldn't play it with the beat sound on. Finally, I don't know if I ever got the reward mechanic to work. Once I got to endless mode, I tried to trigger a reward. It just showed a picture with the word "CUM" at the bottom. I thought it would be a video. I tried restarting the game and triggering it at different points. I always just got a still frame with the instruction at the bottom.
I don't want you to think that I didn't like the cock hero. Overall, it was very well done and had a great build up with the boss battles. I just think if the small issues I mentioned above were cleaned up, this could be the next great evolution of cock hero videos. I hope you have other projects in mind.

Tiny update! See first post for the changes, but most notably I've made pausing less annoying (and you can just turn it off if you still don't like it!). Thanks to kerkerkslave and krypto for the feedback on this.
Local video playback should basically always be at least as good as streaming the web version, and I can't think of any changes in 1.0.7 that should have made a difference. 1.0.8 was exported in a new version of Construct that handles video slightly differently, so maybe that will help? If anyone else has ideas, I'm all ears.

Thanks for the feedback! It definitely sounds like things weren't working as intended, so I'm sorry for the bad experience. I've never encountered that reward problem before--they are definitely videos, so the only way you should get a still image is if the streaming of the video just totally stalled. You'd think the round videos would also play badly in that case, though, so I don't have a good explanation. Yes, you guys are right. I tried Firefox and Chrome, turns out it only worked on Edge (who would have guessed).

Being curious about potential space savings, I proceeded to re-encode the videos (under the "media" folder) with a simple ffmpeg loop:
The re-encoding took only a few minutes, because the command above utilizes HW-accelerated encoding (vaapi). The generated files are, to my eyes/monitor combo at least, indistinguishable from the originals.Code: Select all
