I'm not gonna lie, I was... disappointed. All the massive build up feels for nothing now. The set felt very short, I was expecting this to be some massive set with all the hype it got. Maybe I'm just too picky and others will enjoy this set more, but we'll see.

Yeah, I get it. Sad that it didn't meet your expectations. There were a lot of expectations I was trying to juggle at this time within milovana, so the end of it was bit rushed...I say. Extra spoilers below, so while I know that Hentaiaddict has played...if you are a lurker...or someone who wants to play the set and haven't, then don't continue...it will ruin your experience.
This was rushed. For example, the Goon Calendar for some of the players (funlevel, adanou) expired at the end of the month. So if I didn't get it out, their favorites who were succubi, wouldn't have been favorites anymore. In short, I have been DMing everyone with seperate mini sets about the succubi. I don't know, Hentaiaddict, if you scanned the other parts of the set not specifically for you, but I tried to make everyone's favorite of the month a succubus. That way, they'd "dissapear" at the end of August. If the set is done right, they will do double strokes for all succubi...who we know are not all redheads There section of the set was designed for them to fail...as they've been teased all month. If this wasn't posted (and played) in August, it wouldn't make sense to the majority of people (not you).
There was a lot to think about. Drool likes PMVs, so he got his own section. You don't like long sets (so I reduced the photo count and accelerated your story...and knowing you don't like to scroll up, per your feedback over time, I tried to follow that too and reduce your choices. Others like hardcore, some don't. So the set had to accommodate them all That left everyone else with the super long photos without text...not normally my style, but easiest when trying to do a multi thread set for 3 or more people. There were some last minute adds for Fatts, if he wants to give it a try.
Mainly, I think this one may fall flat where the last multi-person set I made, the wheel of goon, did well, was that I stayed within the HMC thread. I don't think it works very well for multi-sets to go outside of the HMC thread. I don't think I'll do that again. I think I may have gone too big, between multiple set threads.
And...lastly...and this is a defense, the above was not... ...sometimes the best part of the story isn't the last part. Everyone liked the Empire Strikes back more than the Return of the Jedi...maybe that's the case here. The minisets I created didn't take long, and you seemed to like those the most. Perhaps the minisets are the "Empire Strikes Back" here...with caused too much hype for the finale. I donno. Will see what others say.

For normal-sized sets, I track that, but ... this was "mini", so ... I didn't.
I play "normal-sized" on my PC where I can have multiple screens. I keep a stopwatch and a tally window up so I can track edges easily, and also if I need to pull up special rules of mine that aren't used very often if I forget (like "torment mode"), and I also sometimes takes notes about the set as well, though lately I have just been using dictation on my phone for that which has been WAY easier ... and then if I need to open up a special video window or metronome or something—that stuff is just easier to do on my PC, so ... for "normal-sized" having the larger screen and all of those extra "tools" available helps, but ... mini sets I usually just play on my tablet while lying in bed, so ... SOMETIMES I track edges on my phone, but ... I didn't THIS time, but ... my edge triggers are VERY simple, so ... it's pretty easy to "count edges" for me that I WILL DO in the set ...
But ... a set of this length wasn't anywhere near my limits, but ... it was probably around a dozen edges and maybe 30 min if I had to guess? (I started doing extra edges for "legs" and Yang at the end even though I didn't have triggers because I knew the end was coming soon and I was horny and wanted to do more edges before I came. ) But I don't need long sets all of the time. So ... this length was GREAT and I REALLY loved it!
These are “ballpark” numbers, but fairly accurate for estimating time:
Mini is 1 (or maybe 2) scenes. Usually around five edges. 10-30 pictures. Probably 20-40 minutes.
Short is about/around 1 hour or less and/or ~30 edges or fewer. 1-4 scenes. (A typical “scene” consists of around 10-20 pictures.)
Medium is about 1-2 hours and around 30-50 edges. 4-6 scenes.
Long is over 2 hours, 6+ scenes, and/or 60+ edges.
Very Long is over 80+ edges and will typically take 3-4+ hours. That many edges WILL put me into a refractory period at some point (and probably multiple times, so "mandatory breaks" ). 80 is sort of my "upper limit" with 100 being the "extreme" upper limit, and ... I *will* lose immersion and need several very long breaks, so ... I only RARELY appreciate sets of this length.
I just added the "very long" thing just now, but ... Those are my "numbers", and I like to know how long it will take so I can budget my time well ... because sometimes I just have an hour and so I don't want to play something very long ...
Im getting worked up anticipating ur normal sized set since each player has different perceptions of time xD.
I have a feeling that the "mini set" I just sent you will feel more like a "normal length" than a "mini" because of how much I wrote and the number of edge triggers, but ... I COULD be wrong, and ... maybe it WILL just feel "short", but ... it was only two galleries worth of photos, so ... that would still be FINE ...
Idk if ive particularly done long sets, but I think i would be fine with any? My only concern would be whether its "fair" to whoever (you in this case) if i just give u Mini Sets in exchange for the sets (whatever length) you give me :P ill be happy either way cuz - more sets!
Yeah, it's best to exchange sets of similar size.
Why I say this is because usually in my normal sets to anyone, I use 4-5 galleries (mainly; maybe with supporting pics from others), but each gallery has limited pics (pornpics), hence each gallery = 1 girl.
This is what I consider to be "standard" or "normal length," because this is what most players in this game typically do. To me, 6+ scenes is "long", but ... if there aren't many edge triggers, then, it could feel a LOT shorter—at least to me ... because getting up to the edge and then waiting to "cool down" and come off of the edge takes more time than just stroking, ESPECIALLY if there are multiple edges per pic.
If your next return set is 4 "scenes" (galleries), I will hit you back with 4 scenes. If you send 1, I'll send 1. If you send 2, I'll send 2. Your set had 28 images. Mine was around 40, but ... still similar size.
Idk if I can write a full normal set with just 1 girl - maybe an experiment in the future?
I LOVE these kinds of sets, because then I can get REALLY IMMERSED in the character. I would LOVE a set like this with Yang!
The problem is, not everybody is good at writing those kinds of sets. *I* can—easily—but that's because I have a LOT of practice and am a character-driven writer, meaning I have a VERY clear picture of the "character" I am writing, and so it is VERY EASY for me to think of things for the girl to say, but ... not everyone can do this AND it can take a good amount of time, but ... IF you would like to try this, then PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try it on ME!
And I know ur not exactly doing exchanges with others since you will be focusing on your main victim now.
That is going to be changing pretty soon, because I am about to finish up my main story commitments with hentaiAddict, and ALSO my life is going to start to get a LOT busier soon, so ... I won't have much time to spend working on these CRAZY "masterpiece level sets", so ... I am actually VERY interested in writing more simple (NOT COMPLICATED) "normal length" more "standard" type of sets, so ... once I finish up my big series with Addict (HOPEFULLY this weekend/early next week), I will probably start doing "normal exchanges" with more people—and then limit myself to writing "normal" sets instead of the crazy things I HAVE BEEN doing lately. At least THAT IS THE PLAN!
I will produce sets whenever Im in the mood, so I dont want to give any false hope of commitment! But always loving more set
