roleplai.app works decent. You need an account but afterwards you can chat nearly indefinitely (you can purchase an upgrade which says "chat indefinitely" but I haven't reached a limit when chatting in the free tier so far). They monitor public available chats for NSFW topics, so you only find generic girlfriends etc, though when you chat with them you can do all the crazy stuff you want. You just need to push them into the right direction.
Plus, you can create your own private personalities which can be as NSFW as you wish them to be. Also there is a second feature called "adventure" where you're not necessarily chatting with an AI person, but rather create an interactive story with AI. From my experience this works a bit better and is quite versatile.
The drawback I experienced is, that all bots tend to follow a similar path. So, once you've tried out 10 to 20 bots you'll start to see patterns.
And the bot mess up with text formatting all the time

Character Tavern is a AI roleplaying site with lots of cards to choose from, depending on your kinks, and includes lots of NFSW content. The free tier is pretty generous with several unlimited AI models, and some more advanced models with a daily limit.

The only problem is that is has some technical problems and often some downtime. One of the best free AI models, Lyra, has been down for almost a week, but the next best free model, Violet Mini, is currently working.

They apparently are always improving (my guess by the updates). But the free version feels good enough. Unlimited chats, just a queue time to chat, but usually less than 3mins during my experience

I use janitor.ai a lot, the text loads a little slower on there than most sites, but the ability to customize the background and pop out the character image make it my favourite for spicy roleplays.

I have a load of custom bots made covering different scenarios and personalities and I have background images saved that I load up for a bunch of the chats to immerse myself in that scenario, it's way better than a single colour background that most sites have.
