I tried with Restim, no device plugged in and got same thing.
Yes, the device you want to connect to must support linear commands.
So the Gush won't work because it's a device which only supports vibrate/oscillating(?) command - I would assume.
Also no devices connected will not work.
But Restim - if you see it in Intiface Central active under "Connected Devices" - should work.
But you still have to enter the appropriate index no. (as shown in Intiface Central) into the field "Target Device Idx" before connecting.

Exactly like lr_x3 said above. For a visual representation though

Hope you get it going. It really does change the webtease game. I have had a couple of great sessions using Restim with Malena's Maze, and Mommy Melissa Moore.

Re: [App] MetroVerter version 2.1

Not sure what to think about the lack of feedback. Thanks to those that have given some. I know I'm enjoying it. With that, I made some updates and version 2.1 is available in the mega.

https://mega.nz/folder/5XZxzQaQ#uHt9dBY6ENxACdYg_aFi3Q

Version 2.1 update

Fixed: Max Position slider did not work while in Full mode. Now it does.

Changed program startup:
The program will now automatically scan audio devices and will automatically choose the previously used device.
If first time running this version or no user_config file exists, the user must scan and select the appropriate audio device.
On exit, the audio device will be saved to the user_config file and it will be automatically selected on next startup.

Welcome to the world of developers!

Don't worry.
I didn't tested your app (yet!), but with all my experience from many years dealing with software of this kind of software in a way or anoter, by a quick look at the source, by the screens, by the feedback you've got so far, by the presentation of this project, ... I can easily tell, there is absolutely nothing wrong with your app/project, congratz btw!

The reason for not more feedback is that your app is too good, too bugfree, it's a simple as that.
Most people post only if they have a problem with the tool.

Another reason is web 2.0 (or 3.0 already?), back in the days (web 1.0), people participated in the internet, from web 2.0 on people consuming it.
Just take funscripts for example, posted on eros, they produce by far much more sales (paid section) than feedback (free section).

Nevertheless, compared to other projects, the amount of feedback on this project is above average.

Maybe you wanna host your project on (in example) itch.io, that way you'd get at least some statistics and a dl-counter.

Keep up the good work!

Best greetings,
Markus

Thanks Markus. I guess from seeing other software and the feedback they received, I guess I was expecting more. But now that you mention it, I guess I should be pleased and live by the rule, "no news is good news". I've been getting some really good sessions with it using my OSR2 and Restim. Prior to creating this software, I would find myself "cheating" so to say when doing a tease or game. You can't do that using this. Well, I guess you can by pausing it, but for the most part, it's a lot harder to cheat. Some of the teases I have finished or went really long into now, I can't finish or go as long. I have even done some teases that I would normally pass on. Definitely wish I would have created it sooner.

Don't give too much about missing feedback.
For me it's a great app - as said before - and also others said it's a gamechanger for web teases.
And as Markus said:

That exactly!

The last times I used the app everything was working without problems.
Although I didn't use it in the last 1-2 weeks because I was more into estim lately and I'm using your app with stroker toys only - and not with restim as you are using it.
The reason for that is that I personally don't like the switching stimulation (on/off or right/left) in estim - I prefer constant stimulation with varying frequencies and intensities as in the estim web teases on this site or dedicated estim tracks for some video teases.

So keep up the work with this app. It's getting better and better with every update

Re: [App] MetroVerter 2.2

Post by 47dahc »

MetroVerter 2.2 now available in the Mega. Download the executable or run from source. Please see first post for description if needed.

Version 2.2 revisions

Added:
  • Numerical stroking queue:
Spoiler: show
MetroVerter now creates a queue of selected numerical stroking quantities and speeds and sends the commands in the order and speed of selection. In previous versions, it would add strokes but change to the last speed selected.
Inspired by the tease "Tahlia Takes Control" by 666. In this tease, Tahlia instructs you to stroke and gives you a list of quantities and speeds.

Example
Spoiler: show
https://milovana.com/webteases/showteas ... 7760&p=8#t
Now you can select all of the instructed strokes and let MetroVerter do its thing. This can also be good for quick (or long) sessions if you just want to set a bunch of strokes at different speeds. Just select random quantities and speeds and ride it out. Add more as needed.
  • Added a fourth "Custom" BPM selection for those teases requiring more speeds. Again, inspired by Tahlia Takes Control.
  • Created and added new program icon
Fixed:
  • Numerical Queue feature introduced a bug that would not allow Intiface to maintain connection and would automatically disconnect.

I added the Restim to IC link to the first post. I do need to redo that entire post at some point. I didn't include my instructions for Tease AI Awakening since MetroVerter would be an added tool not really needed as TAIA already has the capability to convert its metros to commands for restim.

Thanks for making this 47dahc. I finally managed to get it working and have had some fun revising some metronome based teases.

A few things, it might be just me or my browser but I'm not getting any audio loading for this tease: Keep the Beat with Marry Queen https://milovana.com/webteases/showtease.php?id=68406

Also, when playing BBW Trap, there IS a beat but I think Metroverter isn't picking it up correctly because it is alternating tones perhaps? https://milovana.com/webteases/showtease.php?id=54654

Anyways, hopefully the first one is just a bug on my end and the second one might be an easy update for Metroverter. Thanks again!

I did a quick run through of both and they worked on my end using Chrome. Can you give specific spots in the teases where you ran into issues? I used Marry Queen for some of my testing during development. I did the intro and the cleaners in BBW and MV worked fine. Only time it stopped is when I was told to edge. Of course, some teases will give a faster beat for edging and some don't provide a beat at all and it's up to the user as with BBW.

Are you using version 2.1 with VB-Audio? I made some audio pickup adjustments during 2.0 updates and MV has picked up any beat I throw at it. Also, check to make sure VB-Audio (or whatever virtual cable used) is turned all the way up. That being said, I turned my VB all the way down to 1 and MV still picked up the beats.

Thanks for the reply, it's probably a combination of me using FireFox as the browser and using the outdated version of the app. Let me update and test some more and get back to you. Thanks!

Cool. Shouldn't matter what browser you're using as long as the audio is setup correctly and connection to Intiface and device is good. I didn't program anything browser specific.

I have a problem. When searching for audio devices the app _only_ finds mic's.

That might be usefull in another capacity all together, because the stroker works if i put a mic as input and yell "stroke" :p

You need to have a virtual audio cable input like VB-Audio installed and selected as your audio source in the volume control in the Windows taskbar. This will silence your speakers so you won't be able to hear the metronome. Instead, VB-Audio routes any audio to the the VB-Audio Virtual that MV uses to listen for the metronome beat.

Any audio will cause MV to react. It is recommended that the only audio being played is the metronome. Some teases have voices or laughs, background music, etc. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a way to separate those.
