It certainly adds variety but I feel the change in direction is best suited to scripts that DON'T follow action. I've been trying my hand at scripting, mainly POV style videos, and where the script follows on-screen action, the flip flop in direction ruins, for me at least, the "immersion" in the scene.diglet wrote: Fri Jan 10, 2025 7:58 pm New release: v1.29 https://github.com/diglet48/restim/releases
I also improved the funscript conversion in two ways, very fast movements (below 80ms) will have additional data points. I also added random direction changes (clockwise/counterclockwise) with a probability of 10%, this should make scripts feel less monotonous. I'm curious if this change works for everyone.

I have to say, I'm also not a fan of the random direction changes and I've resorted to converting funscripts with an older version of Restim. I do hate giving up the extra data points. Maybe you can make the random direction changes something you can turn on and off.HerBoneRanger wrote: Wed Feb 19, 2025 12:20 pm
Here's my feedback on the funscript converter change mentioned below:

I've worked around by using v1.28's converter, although I'm aware it generates fewer data points.
I should try creating multiple shortcuts with different working directory specified (you can specify it in shortcut) so have only one exe (that you update) but each shortcut leads to a different working folder :)diglet wrote: Sun Mar 16, 2025 5:15 pm No there isn't. Should add it, since creating a shortcut with a path to the config file is much more elegant than copy-pasting the executable, the current behavior is to always load the config file from the current working directory.

Read up on OpenFunScripter, not sure if it can increase the speed as things go on, but you can definitely edit with the corresponding video allowing you to make changes. Apart from that, Funexpander and funscript.io and beta.funscript.io can let you do things like double speed. I've sometimes taken a funscript, did a speed double(or half if something was crazy), then opened both in notepad++ or just notepad if you want and carefully copy/paste parts of funscripts around. There's no perfect single tool, but OpenFunScripter gets close to doing almost everything.midnightnoir wrote: Wed Apr 09, 2025 12:34 am I finally got Restim to work and it has been an amazing experience.
Does anyone happen to know how to cut a segment of the funscript and loop that over and over, maybe increase the speed as the time goes on, and save that as a custom script?
Because the video and script I'm using with Restim has a segment that feels really good, the rest are good, and some are not as good. So I was wondering if there's perhaps a video editing style software that would just let me trim that funscript segment out and duplicate it to make a custom script, doesn't have to follow the video. Or perhaps somehow capture that in audio frequency and use audio editor to do similar thing.
Right now I just resort to use my mouse to rewind the segment over and over again for HFO, would love to make a custom script that loops it though.
I'm interested to know which video and segment as I like to study tastes and maybe use the knowledge for next creationmidnightnoir wrote: Wed Apr 09, 2025 12:34 am I finally got Restim to work and it has been an amazing experience.

Have you tried to rework Clutch for FOC? The rework for Mistress and Control Box is pretty good and very close to the mp3 fileedger477 wrote: Wed Apr 09, 2025 6:48 am

No, diglet reverse engineered MCB scripts and I understood that Clutch uses movements that are currently not supported by restim.Pinco wrote: Thu Apr 10, 2025 6:34 am

too bad, using only one box would be ideal...edger477 wrote: Thu Apr 10, 2025 6:52 amNo, diglet reverse engineered MCB scripts and I understood that Clutch uses movements that are currently not supported by restim.Pinco wrote: Thu Apr 10, 2025 6:34 am

Sorry for the late reply, it's Blake Blossom's Nurse POV video and script when she does the handjob at 21min mark. I converted the funscript in Restim. Not sure if it'll be everyone's liking.edger477 wrote: Wed Apr 09, 2025 6:48 amI'm interested to know which video and segment as I like to study tastes and maybe use the knowledge for next creationmidnightnoir wrote: Wed Apr 09, 2025 12:34 am I finally got Restim to work and it has been an amazing experience.
