[RELEASE] Celestial Succubus - CH / PMV

I'm proud to share my first release to the Milovana community! I've been around here a long time and now I'm finally giving back.

Celestial Succubus is a project I started to begin learning video production basics and have something I can share in the end. I didn't really have a plan for anything to start but it evolved in to this, and I feel this has turned out pretty good for my first try at making one. This project is all softcore and lesbian with some Shibby audio mixed in. There are no rounds just a few text prompts to tease you.

As this is a learning experience for me I do want to welcome any constructive criticism. Please let me know of any issues you have noticed and any potential solutions that might be helpful, whether they pertain to the composition itself or the nature of the editing. I also want opinions on the pacing of the video and the beats.

I previewed this, and I really like the high quality of clips, and from very small of amount of previewing, it looks to me that you have talent for this, it seems consistent, driven by music and is kinda psychedelic.

Since I think this is one of best newcomer videos in this year (and longer but well, I did not actually check most of them, I guess you had great way to present your creation, intrigue me and make me download it), and, since you also created funscript, which is very important piece, I created quick estim for it. It is in testing since no one tested it yet, but I will improve it based on feedback.

Here, if you use FOC box then overwrite files in main folder with those from FOC folder. When link becomes unavailable the folder was probably moved from in-progress to released stuff.

I will also handbrake 4k PMV version (until tomorrow) to make it around 2gb.

For me that is not degrading term, I love when someone is able to make me feel like that.

I don't think we are on same wavelength. My pet and my slut are my most loved and most important creatures and there is 0 negative conotation there. You could use same words to denote something else, but it is like that for everything. Nuance matters. It is intent behind words that can be neative/degrading, and I haven't watched the creation but I know there are files where there is no such note.

I have no issue if you say that you are not into degradation, if this file from shibby has some, I agree with you completely. I am just saying that usage of words does not imply degradation, it completely depends on the roleplay and the context.

Also, many people have stigma around these words and experiencing them in loving, tender and wholesome context can help get rid of it and embrace new experiences and new types of play, which I hope is what this creation does... which I am transcoding again, on 22.5RF I noticed small artefacts in few locations so I am doing it at 21.5 :D

Really appreciate the feedback FT.
- I don't personally find male vocals off-putting, but i understand how it might be for some
- Yea, admittedly, music is not my forte. I straight took the music from a YouTube playlist without any editing. Do you have suggestions on sources or artist that I should review?
- I didn't mean for anything to be degrading per se, but I did intend to create a submissive context befitting of the succubus element of my video
-I welcome any suggestions for video sources, I would love to integrate others in future projects!

Thanks for your praise. I will add your estim to the links list. I can trim down the video for size if that helps in the future, I tried to avoid too much compression as I often view in a VR headset.

Yes, you are right but I did a lot of testing and found that h265, software (do not use gpu codec!) with quality at 21.5 on slow profile make for video that has no visible loss and it will be half the size or even less (and there is no visible difference also in quest 3). So you save mega space/bandwidth and storage on your vr :)
I'll send you the version I am making now in about 3 hours.

Work more on the Audio. When you have music and add Shibby on top, it adds up and you have clipping all over the place. The beat also clips regularly. You should leave the -1.0 dBTP area for AAC compression artifacts. You are regurlarly going into this zone all the time.

Consider using ducking on the music when Shibby is speaking. Consider moving Shibbys voice to a center more than being in the left/right ear. I know she did this for effect, but if the music is centered, I think it would benefit is should would be as well. Reduce the stereo width of her voice.

The beat indicator needs some TLC as well. The biggest problem is that it isn't running in 30fps. Every 6th frame is a duplicate. This makes it crawl. Second, it could do with some motion blur to make the movement more smooth. If the beat generator follows frames, and not the underlying audio, then that is the reason why the beat is off in a lot of places and not hitting straight on the beat. The beat also messes up a lot of BPM changes, often hitting things which aren't on the beat at all, or moving a beat that hits on 1 and 3 around to sudden hit on 1 and 4 etc.

Yea I figured audio would be the biggest issue with this. The beats were really tricky on some of the tracks and I never really got them quite right. I have no real experience in music, so it's yet another thing I'm learning to work with.The waveform resolution in beatmeter creator is hard to work with for me, I think I'm going to try another way to create the beat track next time.

I totally screwed up the beatmeter rendering and forgot to change the framerate from 25 to 30.

I wanted Shibby's voice to switch L/R tracks and I personally like the effect but I definitely agree it needs refinement. I really need cleaner voice audio, most of the voice tracks had binaural tones playing in the background. I almost did do dips for the Shibby audio and may do so in the next project. I'll spend more time adjusting the levels.

I really love this video.

I support the feedback regarding male vocals (music), I prefer to have female vocals only.

Regarding shibby, I also support the idea of lowering the music volume when she speaks, it was kind of hard to understand her voice.

The video reminds me somehow on the twisted tales series, really good.

Would love to see another one like that!

Edger, you did an excellent job with the estim. When set to a high level at beginning, it's very hard to resist and makes you explode at the end.

Thanks for sharing that! I often Handbrake things I download but just use the default settings. Sometimes it doesn't make much difference, but sometimes it's huge. It would be nice to learn a bit more what the settings do, but it's way down on the list of things to do someday, so this is excellent.

Sorry for going off topic... so I will put my response in spoiler, and in case of any questions feel free to DM me.

As a general rule you can check a bitrate of one of files that are well compressed... I'd say my best results are Rhythms of Desire Extended Edition and Estim With Liya (Remix), these were done many times to find optimal settings, but as a rule of thumb: if 1080p video that is per hour of length already below 2gb (or 4k that is below 4-5gb per hour), then there is not much to gain with transcoding.

If it is more than that (here we had almost 10gb/hour in 4k), then transcoding makes sense.

Important settings is h265 (it is superior codec to h264, if your devices can play it), use software/cpu (so x265, not nvida or amd implementations, these are much faster but much less efficient) and crf around 21/22 (lower number => better quality/larger file).

Also using encoder preset slow gives better results, you could go even slower but the additional time doesn't really result in much better compression beyond slow.
