Awesome idea, thanks for going ahead and doing this!

Not sure to what extent creators will actually be motivated by the prize money, but they certainly deserve some (thanks y'all! ) and for some, a little friendly competition may be just the right impulse to finally tackle (or finish) that project.

The timeframe seems a bit ambitious though, it most likely won't allow for more invovled submissions, which I think is a bit of a shame. Have you considered extending it to, say, 3 months? However, as someone that has neither the skills nor the time to make a submission myself, this is just, like, my opinion, man. Even from the voting side, I'm not sure I'd be able to fairly test 5+ creations within 1 month though.

Well, you wont know until you try.. and we hope to motivate some people, to at last help reimburse some costs..

We did thought of the time frame, we added "planned finish date" on the registration page, if many people say they need more time, it wont be a problem to move the dates around.
If some creators have "almost finished projects" through, we will go with them, and later make another competition, with more prep time. (Now you know, go prepare your creation for Summer competition..)
