I love the video, man. There are instructions, but a little difficult to keep on beat at times. I do hear the kick in quieter parts, but the music drowns it out most of the time.

I knew this comment about the beat sound would be made. The beat is in the bass area, so it can get lost in the music. On the other hand, that is kind of the point, so it won't become distracting. Bass boosting while listening or even playing the beat track in another media player could help, but how can the player know this in advance! I have had this feedback for my earlier videos and I should keep it in mind in the future. Thank you in any case!

I'll see if rerendering the vid with the beat track added on and increased in volume works. It's actually less distracting to have a consistently audible beat than one you are subconsciously struggling to pick out constantly.

I'd say that's highly individual. @gynephilos has shared the separate beat track, which solves your problem, so I'm actually happy the beat is not too intrusive. For me the added beat sound that is even tiny bit out of rhythm of the music is what makes my brain scream "It's wrong! It's wrong!" and my focus shifts to shit. ;)
So once I (or someone else as it would probably take me ages) make the funscript, the opposite - making PMV version would make more sense to me to have the music track undisturbed.

I'm glad you liked it! I try to create stuff that makes sense to me. And keeping it simple is one of my goals, because some other productions have a lot going on to my taste.

It's the duality of the gooner. Also the individual audio setup and differences in audio perception are in action here.
The inspiration for this series was the Psytrance hero series, which used a high-pitched clap sound throughout. Very good videos but it's a bit distracting.

I contemplated creating a separate PMV version but I don't know if there is a demand for it. Also, I'm not sure whether to include the beat sound, girl sounds, tease texts or instructions in there.
I'm of a similar mind as others here. The video and music is perfect, excellent choices all around. But the beats are a bit hard to decipher in some spots (which I recall happened in the first one in a couple places, too) and in a few spots just too fast without dropping to 1-up 1-down halftime. Perhaps playing it that way is the intent?
Some tweaks I'd make, if it were mine:
- Call the different speeds something and stick with the definitions, so that the 3s and 7s at 'normal' speed can be differentiated just from the text from the 3s and 7s at 'very fast' speed.
- Bring up the volume of the beat track just a bit for the first couple of measures after a change, and/or add a different-pitch beat for those sections, then fade it out. Kinda similar to beat meters that appear and fade away, which is something I appreciate in a bunch of my favorite CH videos.
Anyway, don't feel you need to make these changes; I got used to FTV1's occasionally-confusing beats after one or two playthroughs, and it's one of my faves. I'm sure FTV2 will become one, too, even if I have to play it at halftime to avoid tennis elbow...

I agree. I just couldn't think of a way to do this cleverly. I can see this being a problem expecially if you can't hear the beat sound (which on my setup is clear).

I got to use only 25% of the clips that I originally screened for inclusion. I planned the pacing of action and climaxes more for this one. Also, it seems that the longer softcore intro does not bother people.
