Denial Goddess v3.07 (101 mb)

This update includes two new features, a small one and a big one.

1. Goddess can now choose to have another session right away if she wants .

2. Goddess and friends concept.

This includes several big changes:

• Now Goddess has a name. The player must define her name on new game, or if game is ongoing, will be prompted to name her on next start.
• Friends and Goddess images are now in seperated folders
• Goddess instructions:
  • Goddess image galleries must be in the "ImageSets/Goddess/" folder
  • At least one folder gallery is required in the Goddess folder. IMPORTANT: Move your current goddess galleries in the Goddess folder after the update. Galleries inside root (ImageSets) folder wont be used anymore.
  • Tags are still working with Goddess.
• Friends instructions:
  • Friends image galleries must be in the "ImageSets/Friends/" folder
  • Friends folder can be empty. In this case, friends won't be selected during play.
  • Friend can be named. The friend must then have a name.txt file containing the name of the friend in the friend folder.
  • Friend can be anonymous. In this case the friend folder doesn't contain the name.txt file.
  • Anonymous friends and named friends can be used at the same time.
  • Tags are still working with friends.

• In case you meet a new friend, she will be added in your friend list, and next time you see her, she will remember you .

In case you change the Goddess folders from time to time, I suggest you change the goddess name in the options, which will trigger you to meet a new Goddess if you want. Its not mandatory.

I have encountered an error I can't seem to get past even by quitting and reopening, hoping someone can offer some help.
All was going well when it went to the changing clothes screen but then came up with the error
Exception in Script
org.mozilla.javascript.EcmaError: TypeError: The entity name must immediately follow the '&' in the entity reference.(globalScript#459}
Clicking "OK" brings up the next popup showing the error pointing at line 233 in functions.xml: var textsxmlobj = new XML(textsxml);
The tease was running fine yesterday and I've made no changes between.
I have added 3 tagged folders of friends in the "friends" folder which had been working fine till now. The Mistress in effect, and was doing fine until the "changing clothes," was Sabrina which came from the downloads here. Closing the tease & reopening gives the 1st error now without even attempting to go to the lobby or anything.


Another issue is it seems to not be progressing as I'd expect. I had been up to near/over? 50 sessions at one point then I saw that after a while when checking again I was at 14 and stayed there despite completing several more. I added "vSessionNum += 1;" into cumgame.xml and that seemed to fix it since. It still doesn't seem to be progressing the tease tho - more than 50 sessions & no release only once saw option to beg (and was denied), no option to change personality (currently Hot), no new activities/teasings etc. Maybe I'm just not being patient enough but seems if this is normal for the tease it'd be nice to get a bit more info about the pace while playing.

Couldn't reproduce the error, can you send the jscript.log and the guideme.log and also the data/_DenialGoddess.state file

It seems like one of your "CData" is not closing right. The error is linked to xml parsing, maybe you removed unintentionnaly some brackets or parenthesis. Did you modify some files? I tested with a fresh install of the 3.07 and forcing "friends" folder, forcing a changing clothes during the test (by deleting pictures from the folders). I tried several times; but didn't encountered the error. Or maybe you changed some text in the text file and didn't close correctly one of the text line ?

I need more details on this one. To change personnality; you must at least play 10 times with the same personnality; before being able to change again. Changing personnality doesn't add new games. It changes how often a game is selected. For the hot personnality you will get a lot more edging games. For the sadist personality, you will get a lot more cbt/nipple play games. The sadist is unlocked when reaching lvl 3. the balanced personality equates the chances of selecting a game, and the mysterious personality randomizes the chances to select a game for all games.

In cumgame.xml the vSessionNum += 1; is already there on line 471 in CumGameDecision page.

vSessionNumber is only used to change the text in the lobby. Moreover it is reset to 0 after orgasm.

Begging is only allowed once (per orgasm), and whether it is denied or not, it will not be allowed to beg until the sessions following the next orgasm. Also, begging is only allowed after you have reached half the number of edges of your current goal.
lets say your current edging goal is 100 edges.
You will only be able to beg for release once you reach 50+ edges
Moreover if you beg and you get denied, you will have to do your 100 edges goal (+beg tax). Lets say you did 110 edges and got your orgasm. Your goal is now 110 edges, you will only be able to beg again once you reach 55+ edges during the following sessions.

I was impatient with what seemed too slow progress -I couldn't easily decode the _DenialGoddedd.state data to edit it directly and so poked around until I figured to edit cumgame.xml as if I'd cum more to get to the next level quicker. I prefer to cum/ruin infrequently but seems progression is strongly linked to cumming. And then when that seemed to work I make a couple minor tweaks to the text files. All seemed good for quite a while-- until it didn't

to the text and cum files which seemed to work fine for many playthroughs. Comparing my changed files with fresh ones with Notepad++ doesn't show anything missing that should affect closing lines etc but when I reinstalled original files the tease runs fine so obviously I mucked something up that slipped through for a while until the tease reached a new situation. Same with the "vSessionNum += 1" - I must have accidentally deleted it at some point ??!! without noticing as I had put it back in exactly the original line.
Unfortunately now in my fumbling I appear to have reset the tease and lost my progress.
Sorry I didn't catch my own FU before wasting your time, but thanks again for pointing me in the right direction and all you've done with the tease.

There was a good chance i was going to cum that session but i thought no biggie frustrations really the point of the whole thing.

The problem is that when i went to hit reload i accidentally hit restart. Is there anyway to reload all my progress from a saved file. I noticed there was some .state files but I'm a total noob and don't really know what I'm doing.

If you have saved a copy of the state file before doing the restart (like in a backup or whatever) you can restore that state file.
Without that unfortunately there is no way to recover your previous state. Doing a restart deletes your progress and starts over.

Having been burned like that a few times, for teases like this I now make regular copies of the state files just in case. It's saved me more than once.
