hello, I downloaded the personality not too long ago and I'm also having this problem, has it been fixed or is it a problem on my end?

Hey everyone! My first post :)

I was actually guided here via House of Tease and Tease AI, my first program of this kind. I stumbled on it by accident and I am having a blast so far (everything works well - though I had two crashes before I figured to turn on the glitters content).

I have maybe a bit of a weird question but is there, anywhere, content library for it, meaning pics/videos? I never thought of separating my "collection" based on the tags the program uses, either for pics or for videos. Alternatively I noticed there is also a possibility of URL link to external content but I didn't see anything about this anywhere in the manual, so I am not sure if there is anything I could connect Tease AI to to take advantage of it.

I'm short on time today so I won't present any links, ... but in this forum (take your time and you'll find them) are a few threads which contains tagged picture sets, but no video-sets of that kind.

so that you get a taste of what it could become once you put more effort into it, ... to get a first impression, ...
but please keep in mind, if you get bored by some images or videos, ... it's up to <i>YOU</i> to change that.

It is one of the strongest points/aspects of the concept and design of Tease Ai that <i>YOU</i> can feed it with the content <i>YOU</i> like!

If you just in the need of some videos, the succubi-hunter project host quite a few, but I think there are not sorted in such a way.

Alternatively I noticed there is also a possibility of URL link to external content but I didn't see anything about this anywhere in the manual, so I am not sure if there is anything I could connect Tease AI to to take advantage of it.

Tease Ai Awakening (it's just a zip file, so you don't have to install anything if you don't want to) contains a zip file with some URL files, not the best ones but at least something to get started.

If you run into some problems with the original Tai, give Awakening a chance.

I am well aware, I have already sunk at least ten hours into setting stuff up. I am still getting some errors and recently found out you can inspect the modules one by one, seeing what the issues are. I wasn't really trying to avoid doing the work, I just thought that there might have already been some work done - which I confirmed in the meantime. I downloaded several sets and I plan to test them out. In the meantime I am hunting to grow my own library and setup my domme as I wish her to be. The main reason I asked though was that somehow, the "porn of my young" has disappeared. I remember it was countless long galleries with the women having sets and sets of hundreds of photos. It is really tought to find that now, usually you can find a couple pictures here, couple there and for TeaseAI this is the worst situation.

Btw.:
If you run into some problems with the original Tai, give Awakening a chance.

Thanks for the recommendation. I already checked it but I was under the impression that Awakening is a bit of a different concept? While TeaseAI is a sort of a chat simulation, Awakening has a completely different interface? Or have I misunderstood?

You misunderstood indeed.
The concept is the same, it's also a chat simulation, the 'main' interface is hardly oriantated on the original, the fullscreen differs, it's as minimalistic as possible in Awakening, ... it's basically the same, but a modern rewrite, more features, it's more stable, it uses VLC instead of the Windows Media Player, you can have videos instead of just images for your domme and the contacts, ... and it's pure portable, no installation, so if you want to try, try, if you don't like, delete the folder and it's gone.

OK, so I decided to take the L and spend time reading yesterday and a couple of hours today to set it up. I just ran the first session and it is just so much better. I am definitely switching because a) the URL links now work much, much better (it fixes my original issue with not having separated categories, I can now rely on this for the time being and build my own folders gradually), the flow is much nicer and even the UI is much sleeker. Plus the program hit me with a video from the Domme folder that I forgot about was there and, well, it made me twitch for ten minutes while it was playing and she was teasing me. I really hope you will continue development, because this is just so awesome.

I know this might be more to the discussion in the next topic but as we already opened it here I have a couple of questions, if I may.

a) I saw on several places that you can/should setup more than one crush or something. I have setup the first 4 the Awakening/HoT asked me to but from experience the TAI never asked me for additional ones. Should I just wait or is there a way to force the program to do it? And a sidequestion - should you tag these photos of your crush/pornstar etc.?

b) I might have missed something obvious but how do you tag domme pictures? I can't see the tagging window as in the original TAI.

c) I saw that the Glitter is removed but instead you have 6 contacts now there. Do they work the same? Should you somehow tag their pictuers as well?

Thanks for the recommendation and the work you put into it and still putting. I saw that post where you spoke about the feedback and activity as a currency, I'll make sure to take that into heart. It's great to have people like you in any community.

THAT's a feedback of my taste!

- You'll have to type 'I have a new crush' to set up new ones (if you have images and want to, there is not much about them).
- No tagging for them.

Correct, that is missing, you will need the original Tai to tag your images and copy/paste the LocalImageTags.txt to the corresponding Awakening subfolder.
It's on my ToDo-List, a final version will have such a thing for sure, ... oh my, ... you should see my steady growing ToDo-list!

This depends on the personality and if the scripter has used that, I could be wrong, but I think this isn't used in any released project, ... and if a tag is used but not there you'll get a message displayed anyway.

As a sidenote:
You don't need necessarily have all your picture sets tagged, if a tagged picture should be shown, Awakening checks first the current folder for tagged images, if there are no tagged images it automatically checks all the other picture set folders if there are tagged images and displays one from there.

I never really understood what was meant by 'Glitter', ... it's the same, just now that it's called 'Contacts'.

Wanted to pop in on this, the intention of glitter was to have a fake twitter-y feed where the domme and contacts "interact". Sadly I think just about every personality out there didn't use it to its full potential, and just dumped a bunch of basic conversations into the folder which would get repetitive and ignored. What really interested me was the ability to call custom convos during a session as if the domme was actually announcing what was happening to her friends.

I think its full potential could be used to telegraph things like "I need to leave for a bit who can join chat for a moment and help me out?", "I was thinking about doing x y or z to sub, what do you guys think?", etc.

Some quick additions I would make to the system off the top of my head:
Maybe a way to wait until the scripted conversation is complete for the domme to "react" to since the comment rates were customizable.
The ability for contacts to post instead of only comment to switch things up.

I am still quite sceptical about this, sounds to me like an example for good-meant/sounds-great-in-theory kinda things (I had lots of such on my own, mostly in scripts but also in code when I think about something which sounds like a good idea until I (play-) tested them and kicked them out because it turned out as not-practical).

To that I say why does anything happen in tease ai? Its a fantasy. As mentioned its not "texting" but fake social media which is "public" for the sub to see.

The issue with your example is that the domme has already left, where for me that glitter post might come during a link (or earlier), and if you are looking at the feed then you'd know that Contact 1 was about to show up soon, building some anticipation.

I mean I know you can have "random domme" option but THAT actually has no real attraction for me. I don't want to hear the same stuff from different woman, I created a persona in my hear and I like that one leading. I think even now it would feel strange to have someone else being shown on the screen, unless I'd change it to an entirely different set of scripts (like Fury or Alice).

So the Glitter/Contacts are a greta spice in it to keep it interesting. It always feels fresh when it changes for a bit. I was actually thinking myself that the scripts could be more interesting, I saw it only a couple of times so far but the options are quite vast for this kind of interaction.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have the impression you mixed up something.
I absolutely like the concept of contacts can join the chat, so they are with you and the domme, like tag-team on you, or talk about you or whatever else, or you are with the contact(s) alone, many possibilities, ... that's one of the reasons why I've added the possibility of 6 instead of just 3 contacts.
As you say, it spices things up, they can also be (depends of the scripts of course) somehow different than the domme, ... like more friendly, more cruel, whatever.

But we talked about the "Glitter-App", in the original Tai, you can activate that somewhere in the menu, I think it's under "Apps" (not sure, don't have the original installed at the moment).
With that a second chat window opens on the left, there the contacts and the domme can chat (send messages to each other).
It's a parallel running chat (not sure if you can type there, never really used that).

I think it's more disturbing than helpful in order to add up to the immersion, and I think it's not realitic that a submissve would be reading along what the domme and her girlfriends have to say to each other, ... but that is just my opinion on that matter, as you can read in the post from pepsifreak, other people might have another opinion, and that's just fine by me of course, would be a boring world if we all would agree on everything.

Oh, ok. Then yeah, I misunderstood and I never saw the Glittler App. I didn't even know it existed, I thought Glitter was the domme's friends joining the convo :) My bad.

I guess that was a bad move on my part. I guess I need to put some images under av_imagens/01 through 04 but does anybody know how to fix the missing variable issue?

Hi!
If a reset of the personality is an option for you (aka you didn't played too much with it already), go into the system folder of that personality, something like this:

\AwakeningInstallFolder\Scripts\YourPersonality\System

There you should have the folders:
- Flags
- Variables

Delete these 2 folders.
Next time you start it's like you have first start.
And yes, those crushes are used and should be set.
