Home made triphase

Post by golgafrincham »

Quick question.
I have an estim 2b box, and have been looking at a triphase cable. But i wondered if i can achieve the same thing with 2 std cables and one of the conductive rubber cock tubes if I put the common of both cables into the ends of the same tube and then each signal as an A and a B signal into separate electrodes, then surely that gives me the same as a triphase cable?

Correct.

IIRC, the 2B you do need to make sure the common is the BLACK lead, but I may be misremembering.

You can use ANY two wires as long as they are not on the same output (A or B)
So there are three possible combinations ...

but 2b doesn't have symmetrical pulses so different combinations will feel different
