Shortly after my last post my Mistress allowed me to have an orgasm so I wasn't able to continue helping the people on my team. I didn't bother checking back in here since it seemed like they bailed on earning their punishment points anyway.
I do agree that punishments for the losing teams should be something that is easily achievable in a day or two at most to ensure they follow through.
If you're willing to take constructive criticism Noah I had some thoughts...
I don't think the points differential at the end for granting/denying rewards worked out well, but only due to our number of participants. If we'd had 2-3 times as many people active then I think it would have worked out much better. Alternatively, if it had required more points to grant/deny rewards then it would have been better; too many people were saved for such a small player pool. Also, the point value doesn't needed to be decided at the beginning and you can adjust it based on how many players are participating then announce it on Saturday or Sunday based on the number of participants.
If you do another pregame thread, I think people should have to do their first post in the official game thread before they get assigned to a team, showing that they are active on the day that the game starts...perhaps they should even be required to complete their first task before being assigned randomly to a team. We had way too many no-shows which isn't your fault at all, but it unbalanced things a bit. Tying into my previous point, if we know how many players are active you could tailor the end-of-game points differential to be more fitting.
I think it should be highly suggested that people instruct players to edge or be on the edge before beginning most tasks. I suppose it would ultimately be up to the people making the tasks if they want to give out free points, but I could probably earn 300 points from "medium" and "hard" tasks that were posted simply because I was able to complete them after a cooldown period.
One last thought I had would be to request a volunteer on each team to be a team captain. The team captains would be in charge of keeping a running tab of the score of each player on their team. At the end of the game they could be required to double check the other team captain's scores or the final score you determine. This would create a checks and balances system so you wouldn't have to keep track of everything yourself. If there are errors then having 3 team captains as well as yourself would ensure they would be caught by someone, even if some of those people don't do their due diligence.
These are just some thoughts I had since the competition began and please please please do not take them as a complaint or slight against you. I really had a TON of fun participating in this event and even if nothing changed I would sign up again next weekend without hesitation. I've been on this site since before 2010 (I didn't make an account for a long time I just used the webteases and lurked the boards) and I've never participated in a forum game before. I'm glad I finally joined one because I had a blast, even though it was difficult, frustrating, and I pushed myself to my limit at the end.
Thank you Noah and all the other participants. I hope to see you all in another round of this, or another forum game. Until then, stay horny, stay edged, stay in a state of arousal
