I don't know what others think, but I'd say continue, we're all humans, accidents happen. But do try to do better next time. Edging sounds like a good idea to build up the horny, but will you be able to hold yourself back? Try to answer this question honestly. If not, you shouldn't be allowed to do it. If you think you can do it, still try to do more to be on the safe side: increase time between edges, try not to get too close, whatever works for you.

For example, I had exciting dreams randomly in the past month, when before Locktober I remembered ~1 dream per month, and it was usually something scary. I didn't want to lose things like that. I also felt like I failed Mistress with the task.
