This is more a hint than an error, ... it just says that the variable 'AV_GlitterJoin' does not exist, ... this might be helpful for scripter, not for a user.
---> Just give it a try and look up the folder:
YourAwakeningInstallFolder/Scripts/SelectedPersonality/System/Variables

There you should not find the variable 'AV_GlitterJoin' ... BUT it's also possible that the variable was created later, after that entry in the log.

Anyway, all the log's are like Work-In-Progress and have to be cleaned up, ... but I am really too busy now for that, ... until they get cleaned up, ... well, ... better have some log-entries too much than some missing.

Hi there! Hope I'm right to ask this here:
While I get everything more or less running, everytime a .mp4 should beplayed, a .net error occurs which says that .mp4 is not yet supported. If I change .mp4 to .mp3 in script and provide it, everything is fine. Do I need other .net version?

More importantly and a general question: How to make Tai procede nevertheless?

Supported are only mp3 and *.wav files, nothing else.

I would recommend to use only *.mp3-files, AND I would recommend to reencode your audio files to 'real' mp3 files, just to be on the safe-side.
To do so, I reencode all my audio files with the program 'LameXP', freeware, you can reencode all your files at once, easy to use.

My fault, ... if that error occurs, and you can't move on, ... well, noted on the to-do-list, ... will be solved in one of the future updates, thanks for reporting!

Thanks for detailed info! Seems like I should report the audio problem to the succubi hunter guys. I'm playing with this "personality" and within their scripts obviously *.mp4 are included. What I meant was: Changing *.mp4 --> *.mp3 IN THE SCRIPT AND providing a *.mp3 (not re-naming mp4 file to mp3 file) worked. Just wondered why others don't get the bug then when *.mp4 isn't supported anyway.

Anyway not "your" problem then.

I get the message "Second Player. No videos found". This looks more like a Windows message, than a TAI message.

This happens after the Domme says "Stroke as the beatmeter indicates, ... no edging, no cumming!"

The script is \Stroke\Link\mar_Link.txt 641/1159

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi!

Open the settings, there go to:
Video -> CHC Player
There is a 'box' for 'Beat Meter', choose there 'Add Media Directory' and select the folder of the beatmeters.

The download links for these beatmeters are in the 'Awakening Release Notes.txt' in your main Awakening folder.

I'm sorry, but I still get the message "Second Player. No videos found".

IN TAI setup I have set the Additional Videos for CHC to "D:\TAI\Video\CH_BM", and the Beat Meter to "D:\TAI\Audio\My_Beats", and in that directory I have 2 two MP3 files.

It's not vital, but any help would be appreciated.

As I wrote above:
The download links for these beatmeters are in the 'Awakening Release Notes.txt' in your main Awakening folder.
Those beatmeters are video-files, not sound- mp3 files, ... and they are not just 'any' video files, ... they have a resolution which matches to the part of the screen where they are played, ... so just download the files linked in the 'Awakening Release Notes.txt' and use them.

It might be much to download, but they are used often in the Alice project, so it really is better to have a lot (all) of them.

I was wondering if the automatic slideshow feature, which changes the picture every x seconds, is on your todo-list. That's pretty much the only thing I am still missing from the old TeaseAi.

And thank you for the work you have already put into it.

Hi!

In the first moment I wasn't sure what exactly you mean so I've looked up the original.

I guess you mean in the Settings -> General -> Slideshow Options (and there 'Manual', the time or 'Tease')?

If so, ... well, I never used anything else than 'Tease', and IMHO the other settings doesn't make any sense at all, ... a new chatline, a new picture, that's the only way which sounds logical to me.
I am always open for good reasons to implement this or that, if you have some good reasons/examples in which situation any other setting would make sense, just let me know.
But even then I would hesitate to implement such a thing, ... the way Awakening displays media is by far much more complicated than it ever was in the original, just take the possibility alone of playing videos instead of a domme-slideshow.

In some scripts/specific situations it might be useful to display domme pictures after a while, but that can be scripted already with the (new in Awakening) command '@NullNextDommeImage', ... here is the example from the releasenotes/changelog:

@NullNextDommeImage -> to be used to display the next image of the domme slideshow without any text, to be used (and works only anyway) in a @NullResponse-line, works also with contacts, i.e.:

I notice when enabling/disabling URL files the changes don't seem to save reliably, with changes getting reverted sometimes. And even when they do stick, I can still get shown images from now-disabled files unless I flat out delete it entirely. (Confirmed by searching the filename)

Hi!

At the moment we are working on a complex (and at least to me totally amazing) new feature, which not only means some work in coding for me (new settings, a whole bunch of new commands and filters), but also in scripting since I'd like to give at least somewhat of a demo-script out for that.
The technical base for that is already working (to an extent), so the question is not if it comes, but only when and how far we can take this. 8-)

So for now that is priority, everything else I just note down and get back to it once I will find the time for it again, ... like your report, noted, ... but please don't expect any changes on that anytime soon.

In the meantime, ... what you could test out (if you didn't have already that is), ... start Awakening, enabling/disable URL files, close Awakening and start again.

when typing yes the program types " I knew you would like that, my little censor " and then just halts. When trying Debug Skip module, it starts but just halts as well forcing a reset.
