My impression is that CH videos are having less releases because a lot of concepts have already been made and the time/effort to make them is huge.

Another problem that I found with multiplayer CH is that is hard to find other players who want to compete or play casually on cam. There was the cockhero.info chatbox to find an online opponent (RIP chatbox) and I tried some Discord servers, but all the one I found were "dead" with no people interacting.

Do you know any active communities that make CH battles or with PMV, JOI, etc.?

I defiantly think part of the slow down is the increase in quality, cock heros are a lot of work and having to compete in standards with the best pieces (that I would consider basically works of magnificent art) is tough, especially how busy most people are already in there lives.
I do have plans to create more but I have so many things going on it just falls to the back, I am lucky to occupy a niche in the cock hero space with henati x irl style that no one else seems to be doing which makes me happy and more motivated, if there were a bunch of other creators just making EXACTALLY what I wanted to make but better I could see how I might just decide to spend my time doing something else.

Also if anyone knows good places to do cock hero battles lmk as well, the closes I have rn is a goon discord that people sometimes watch vids together, but its not the same type of challenge as cock hero.

Yeah, I'm also working on a new one, and it's making slow and steady progress, but right now I'm under some hellish deadlines (sometimes being self-employed sucks) coupled with having a family and other stuff, so it's going super slow. It's also the second go, since I started on one thing, decided there were several things that weren't doing it for me, and that I wasn't going to spend all that time on a CH that didn't turn me the hell on, so I've had to go through a whole process of revetting videos and such, which I'm still in the middle of. Getting there though.

Which is a longwinded way of saying that there are still a bunch of us creators working, but the bar is high, and at least my own expectations of myself get higher each time, and when life lands on your head like a 1600 ton anvil, some of the fun stuff has to yield until there's more time again. :)

Id almost analogize it to the trend of dwindling attention spans of people in general, really. They are growing shorter and you could probably graph it and have it look very similar to the graph youve posted above. TikTok and similar outlets encourage it and I think people are just becoming more demanding than ever for what they deem worthy of watching. Almost like how modern cartoons switch frames and jump from one plot point to another faster than ever.

+1 So true. I have the impression that short formats are the future, like PMVs of less than 5 minutes. I don't know if we should be happy or sorry ... that's just the way it is. in any case it can explain the decline of the CH.

Some have already written about it, but clearly the Great Purge on PH must have also put a brake on the growth of CHs. Anyway, cock heroes (or porn with music) is a niche genre. I don't think it will be mainstream tomorrow, far from it.

There is also something quite strange that I don't understand. On reddit's CH, I get the impression that people don't follow the latest releases. To sum up, I have the feeling that they are still recommending masterpieces that are quite old. No visibility, or very little, on the latest releases. Which is frustrating when you know the nuggets that have been collected in recent times.

As it was said above, Milovana is really a site that few people know about. Maybe as a creator, we should put more emphasis on milovana. For example, by mentioning it in our intros (I don't know... putting a logo...or a short text mentioning it) it would help gain visibility for this forum."Impose" (I put a lot of quotation marks, I don't want to impose anything on anyone) an "official" cock hero logo at the beginning of each video.

+1 Too... With time, the quality of the productions has increased... Which makes the creators much more demanding towards themselves.
So at first, it's cool :) But at some point, you become paralyzed because you feel like you're not offering anything new. French Bikini is stuck because of this phenomenon. Add to that the fact that the genre is still limited in essence :) It's complicated to renew yourself.

Colleagues, have you ever found yourself in this situation where you delete your own work because it doesn't seem "amazing" or "worthy of publication"?

I wouldn't give so much about google numbers. Cockhero was always a small scene and it won't go away. It takes a lot of work to make one, so there aren't too many creators. Sometimes a creator goes away for lack of time or loss of interest, sometimes a new very active one comes around and there is more new content.

Google trends aren't validated in anyway as well. Who knows what is real and what is just interest shifting to platforms google does ignore or can't see. The data shows a point where interest seemed to explode and then suddenly declined. Both effects are surely not down to some giant social changes. I didn't check whether it aligns to the fall and rise of pornhub or some other platform. Cockhero videos are certainly less available due to the takedowns from streaming platforms. The community started with downloads though, downloads always had the better quality. The people that are really into it will stick around.

Shorter PMVs have been around much longer than CHs have. I know, I have been stroking to them before the first CH tease appeared back in the day. There are more of them because they are much easier to make. But I would always warn against looking and some data and then interpreting it based on some pessimistic social perceptions like attention spans going down. Yeah, there is tiktok now. But people still watch 2h long movies or series with many episodes or even seasons. Watching a 10+ episode series in one go is a thing nowadays. And every tend generates a counter-trend pretty soon.

I see some issue with the long term availability of CHs due to the copyright issue. Most of them are probably available via Empornium but other torrents are often not seeded anymore after some time and download links disappear as well. But this was always a problem.

I have been absent from this fine site due to time constraints and the discovery of Xtoys last year. If you want to talk instant gratification; Xtoys is it. Go there, set up a session with cam (estim, handy, vibes, etc) and within moments someone steps in mostly anonymously and pleasures you. I have met many fun people there, just like here. So, yeah, our interests are being divided amongst many different forums, apps, etc. It's just the way it is in these times. Thank you to all the creators here!

There are always two sides of the same coin. Pardon me I have not yet produced any CH work, and joining a discussion in front of all the divine almighty lordly omnipotent great great CH producers, but I would like to add another voice, which might be a rather unpopular opinion.

There are benefits when Milovana keeps staying low profile. Imagine if the © holders of the clips find out this site when one day Milovana goes mainstream and gets more exposure than now? What could happen apart from having a Great Purge in Milovana where the whole website will be banned from access and all precious discussions, posts by all the producers of all the masterpieces, links to space and seeds are all gone from the database? That will repeat the Great Purge of PH due to it becoming too mainstream and becoming the easy target made by irrational illogical politically correct noises. But I have to admit that I don't have knowledge about which website architecture powers Milovana and where the database server locates.

If someone is very into CH, I bet he has the ability and passion to motivate him to dig into the web and find this website. Honestly, it is not that hard to land here when you search for CH on Google.

Pardon me for making a bold assumption. I could predict that if Milovana gets even more popular, most of the newcomers would just be consumers who silently download everything, instead of being new producers, especially with the huge amount of high-quality CH productions already available. As many of you already voiced out, it might be hard to compete with the celestial godlike producers and it also takes time for newcomers to consume most if not all of the fun and great CH productions first.

That actually cannot happen. Forum does not host any clips. There might only be some pictures hosted for teases but all the videos are hosted elsewhere (filesharing/torrents) and links to them here are not any different to links on reddit or other forums.
There is difference between hosting a forum and providing content that could be in violation of copyright. Even then the hosting will just remove content, and go on, any violation is performed by the user, not the host (the providers are shielded from it by US Section 230 where they just have to take down content on request and they are fine).

If someone cracks down on the content, it probably won't be on Milovana.

I mean, they already crack down on the content on all the streaming sites. You're lucky if your uploads stay up long, especially with new and fancy ways of embedding rights information in the video itself, even without a watermark. Many sites have hidden info that not only identifies that the clip is theirs, but also the identity of the downloader from their site. I haven't heard of it leading to more than just getting accounts banned, though, both from the content sites and the streaming sites.

As for new people finding us, I don't think that's a problem. Since CH's inception, the vast majority of the visitors aren't creators. Keeping a low profile is only going to reduce the number of new releases, since we're going to lose more creators than we're gaining. With a high profile, sure, most people will just download, but among those, some will be like, "hey, I could do that, but in my own way," and that's how we get more creators.

So personally, I wish any and all welcome. :)
