Hi

I have had a loooong ass period of being extremely busy.
I am talking 60-80 hour workweeks for over a month now, which included weekends etc.
Lucky for me I absolutely love my job

That does mean that Masturbatrix 1.10 have been standing still for a long time in terms of development.
Things seems to quieting down again so hopefully I will get back to it

This is a just a "Still here" post.
Version 1.10 is coming, however I dont think I will make on this side of the year

Loving this personality!

Was asked to provide feedback so here it is.
I've no idea what some colour beads do what, an explanation after every bead pulled might be nice just like some of them get? Just a one liner.

Also find that there are HUGE in the 'conversation'. For example I choose to pull a bead from the menu and it can take over a minute to start. Can anything be done to speed that up?

Glad you are enjoying it.
You are right about the beads will look into improving it.
Overall it is a weakness that these things are not explained properly.

Regarding the long wait. It is a Tease-ai thing, so out of my control!
However Markus is working on Tease-AI awakening which as I understand it will be a really big improvement and not too far away. So a bit of patience and you will not regret it

Hi

Version 1.10 is getting closer and closer.
I'm mostly testing these days.

1.10 is very different from the old Masturbatrix.
A lot of stuff have been removed/re-written.
A lot of new stuff.
Adventure has been put on hold, I could just not get it working how I hoped it would so I have an idea for something else.

Right now I'm thinking a release of it sometimes in January

A status regarding version 1.10

The good news!
I am getting close, so I am expecting a January release despite a rather busy December
Right now my to-do list is:
- Write the last few scripts (no spoilers)
- Overhaul the Masturbatrix guide, update it to the Awakening
- Bit of testing
- Clean up some folders
- Release!

I am particular excited about the new video scripts!
Given the new features from Awakening, there are a lot of new pretty cool stuff you can do that wasn't previously possible!
Also a LOT of new stuff and surprises I hope you will like.

The bad news!
1.10 is not compatible with previous version 1.03! You will have to "restart" your progress. Sorry!
Adventure has been scrapped for now, it just wasn't fun! Which was a really hard decision. However I have an idea for something else which I think could be pretty cool.
When I do release in January it wont be "fully" tested. So I expect a lot of bugs in the beginning.
If you want to help test please download and have fun, otherwise I would wait until February. Hopefully then I will have the worst errors removed.

Sounds pretty amazing, can't wait to see what your creative mind made out of the new possibilities!
Back then you already had impressed me with the way you are using given possibilities your way, like the usage of the ... oh wait, ... nope, no spoilers!
(Maybe you remember that script you've posted in the test-forum?!)

I don't know how far developed that thing is, if it's playable at all or not, ... or if you plan to work on that further in the future, ... but the term 'spin-off' just popped up in my mind.
So if this thing doesn't match into Masturbatrix itself and before it starts to rotten on your harddisk, you might consider to post it as a stand-alone 'little game on it's own'?
Even if it's not finished, even if it's just an inspiration for other scripters, ... or maybe another scripter might take it and develop it further, ... everything sounds better to me than just let it rot unused, ... just an idea.

2. Bought a house! The whole paperwork thing related to that is insane which have taken most of my sparetime these past weeks.

I am now back at it, my new target is February.

2. Bought a house! The whole paperwork thing related to that is insane which have taken most of my sparetime these past weeks.

There is an additional delay because of two reasons.
1. My immune system got strengthened due to flu, eye infection and a stomach flu of sorts, now it's stonger than ever, but it took a while.
2. Fuck yeah, I bought a house! Now I am a house-owner, and now I have the pleasure of furnishing it, settings things up and so on, I am a bit busy with that as well as with the necessary paper-work (which I do happily since this is what is needed when buying a house).

See? ... Everything is just fine!
