Heya,
I'm a CS person, and I find it curious that EOS can't seem to display gifs. What exactly is EOS behind the scenes? Who maintains it?
EOS Behind the Scenes
Re: EOS Behind the Scenes
The following is as I understand it. More knowledgeable people feel free to correct me.
It is my understanding that seraph0x, the sole admin for Milovana, designed the EOS system. I do not believe they are actively maintaining it. It is true that EOS currently only supports JPEG and MP3. For GIFS there are a few workarounds:
1. You can split a gif into a gallery of JPEGS using free websites and then paste them one photo at a time into EOS separated by short timers.
2. There is a tool created by fapnip which can take this JPEG gallery and implement an animation into your EOS tease far faster and can do it in a way that makes the animation smoother. If it looks at all daunting I am also happy to do this for you, it only takes me about 2 minutes to do.

Fapnip was even working on some even more creative workarounds to trick milovana into thinking a video or gif was actually a jpeg. However, after lots of work they couldn't get it working well enough and here we are.
I want to see more animations in Milovana teases and am here to help in any capacity.
