I’m looking into making a maze-style tease and I see a lot of different examples; what type of rooms do you like to see when you run into an obstacle in a maze? To clarify, the tease will most likely be edging based.
I’m open to all suggestions! Thank you in advance!

Edging as a topic is great. I also enjoy some CBT or other SM practices, though in teases it has to be worth the hassle to get all the toys ready. What I mostly like is some kind of background story, what kind of place is the maze (haunted house, prison, ancient labyrinth, whatever) and some connection between the girls in there. And I like if there is some complexity to the interaction, some information you have to find to use at some other place, some games that certain girls might play, keys, trapdoors whatever.
I like your teases and they are already quite complex and contain various interactive ideas. Should you have some idea but don't know how to code it, I'd be happy to help.

Thank you for the feedback! From what I can tell, it’s more about the overarching story and how things interact with one another!kerkersklave wrote: Mon Feb 20, 2023 7:38 pm Edging as a topic is great. Yes, that's what makes an interesting tease for me. Of course I am also into a lot of edging, pushing the number of edging and the time of edge holding. But I guess in a maze about edging that is more or less a givenUninvitedGeist wrote: Mon Feb 20, 2023 10:27 pm Thank you for the feedback! Personally, I find pacing to be an important aspect. I've seen mazes where you'll hit rooms that last too long (ie stroking sessions with long timers.) I understand that there is the aspect of difficulty, and part of the challenge is to last through the maze.. but there should be a balance between difficulty and progressing through the maze. Getting stuck/lost and having to sit through the same segment over and over becomes even more frustrating if the segment is particularly long. There is a point where it can become too frustrating (in an impatient kind of way), when all I want to do is get to the next part and see what's there.
I prefer rooms in mazes that are mostly (or purely) edging for this reason. It allows you to go at your own pace, to a degree. If you can finish the edges quickly, you can move on. Or (if you want to cheat), you can just click the button and claim you finished your edges and go on exploring the maze.

I would enjoy a change in the rooms task and/or text based on how many times it has been visited.
For example:
First Visit - "Oh who are you?" - Stroke X Times/Seconds
Second Visit - "Oh it is you again!" - Stroke more times than last time.
Also having rooms or corridors that just do nothing can be good for pacing.
You can rest a moment and faster traverse the maze.
These "empty" rooms could also trigger random events like traps, encounters.

I like when there's lots of variety to the instructions and kinks. So you don't know what to expect each time you move to a different room in the maze
