Honestly, I don't know, ... but if you want to be on the safe side, just download all what's there (if you don't have download-limits or such, if then you might await the answer of avatarbr who should know it better).

You didn't had actually a problem with these files missing in a running session?

If so, then this would reveal a weak point of those tools. (Again... I could be wrong, just a thought!)
So, I have looked up AV_Loop.txt, ... ok, this wants to play these files with these commands:

Fine, both files are missing.
But if you search deeper, the file AV_Loop.txt is called from the file AV_Link.txt only, nowhere else.
And if you search for a call of 'AV_Link.txt', ... there is no result at all, so my best guess is that these scripts are there and written but never used. ... -> And since the scripts are not used, the media called by them isn't missing as well.
Coders would call that 'unreachable code'.

Don't get me wrong, these test-tools might be helpful, but if I am guessing correctly, then they might not check for such a case of 'unreachable code/scripts'.

A scripter could have started something, then changed his mind, changed something here and there and tadaa, ... unused scripts.

That's also a reason why I don't use such test-tools like you have recommended me a while ago, ... my Alice project is full of such unused scripts.

Yes you are right. I used viewtopic.php?t=20004 and it might be possible that the script is not used. But because I simply don't understand if the script is called by the program or is it called by an other script I can't really say it.

The personality/your mistress should tell you along the way, in the intro there you will be asked about crushes, .... ex-girlfriend, favorite actress, favorite singer and favorite pornstar, these are the folders 01-04, the other folders 10-19 are for additional crushes.
You can tell her:
'I have a new crush'
So 10-19 are for that, but again, you will be told when you have to fill these folders up with pictures, of course it cannot hurt to prepare such pictures before.

It's always worth to read the first post of a projects thread, ... in this case it's explained in the first post that you have to install Tai to run House of Tease:

House of Tease 8.0 (TeaseAI 55.3 or above)

Instalation:
- Download Tease AI here: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=19518
- Download the UNOFFICIAL Patch55 here: https://mega.nz/file/MR4UUZKY#Gfj2S9nnc ... 0GMkv_LFrg
- Copy the *House of Tease* folder inside the *Tease AI\Scripts* folder.
- Copy The Audio, Video and Images folders inside the related folders inside Tease AI folder (you can merge the existing).
Path folders must be:
Tease AI/Audio/tease
Tease AI/Images/av_imagens
Tease AI/Video/AV_Clips

Tai Awakening will run House of Tease as well.

I downloaded both Tease AI and House of Tease a few days ago, but I'm having trouble getting it to work.

I downloaded everything according to the instructions on the first page. Booting up the first time went well I think. I added pictures for movie/music/pornstar and crush in the correct folders. When running the actual House of Tease program for the first time, the chat, audio and metronome seem to be working ine, but I get the follow error message spammed in red multiple times: 'Error: The path has an invalid format.'

Hi and welcome to the forum!

From the error log, there is the command used: '@DommeTag(Ass,FullyDressed)'.

This command searches for domme picture tags, in this case for a picture in your domme picture folder which is tagged with 'Ass' and/or 'FullyDressed'.
Domme pictures are not delivered with the personality, you'd have to use own picture sets and make sure that they are tagged accordingly.
You can do the tagging in the Original Tai -> 'Open Settings Menu' -> 'Tagging'

There are a lot of informations scattered around this forum for how to use Tai, how to get started and so on, and the lack of an up-to-date-all-in-one 'manual' is a bit sad, ... anyway, you could always ask or try to search the forum.
To get started with Tai might require some research, some patience and some work (i.e. tagging your picture-sets), ... but in the end it's worth the effort.

I've installed Tease AI (with the unofficial Patch) and HoT 8.0, and it always freezes when my mistress wants to change her clothes...

The programme always freezes for me when I have to make a certain number of edges.

Today it should have been 39, and after the 6th one the programme hung up. I could only kill the task.

Soon enough there should be a solution to all those freezes.
They are NOT because of this peronality (House of Tease), but because of the patches and Tai itself, ... please be a bit patient and keep an eye on this forum, ... stay tuned, a solution is on it's way.
