I've just skimmed through this, but I've noticed one interesting thing about the beats at one point. The song seems to be in 4/4 time signature while the "123-4" pattern is in another one (3/4 or 4/5? I'm not sure, it's very long since I left my music education). In other words, while it sounds well aligned with the song bpm, the pattern feels like it's one beat short and the whole thing repeats only every 4th measure?
After listening to this for a while, I actually like the added complexity. I think I might start using these kind of signatures from time to time to make things more interesting. So thanks for inspiration.
When it comes to editing and cuts, what kind of settings are you able to tweak in order to create something like this? This is interesting.
TBH here I just did the beats by "feeling" with the Beatmaker. I just listened to the song and sections a few times and tried a few patterns, this was also my first try at this. What I noticed is that if you make Beats for more tracks you get a better and better feeling for what to do, but there are still some parts in songs that are really tricky to get right. I might go over the beats of this sequence again and see what I would do now that I've done 25min more of beats and different tracks.
The cuts as mentioned it was made with the AutoPMV Tool, if you like I can Screenshot the settings used for the sequence and send them to you via Discord :D
In "short", you can influence the "flow" of the sequence most by tuning the "minimal clip length" and the value for the tool to detect a beat change called "SD for Clipswitch". All you need to then decide is how much of what kind of content you want for the sequence (Intro ,BJ ,Titfuck, HJ, Sex, and Finish). Then just hit render and see what you get, for this sequence I think I did 4-5 runs until I got one where I thought it is okay. I'm not so sure yet how the "nsplit" value influences the sequences yet I haven't played with much yet. I first wanna get this project which is basically a big trial run, out of the door, and then go on to a much bigger more structured project with maybe a bit of ASMR tease stuff (inspired by you, Binary state and such :D).
I also found that if you just take two or three source videos not longer then 60 min and fumble around with the settings you can have quite some awesome results. I'm done with Round 4 of maybe 7 or 8 now, depending on how much total runtime I want to achieve. going for 45min atm. With my current workflow, I can do about 1.5 Rounds a day. I'm doing the Beats first then deciding what I want for my clips, I choose those and let the tools crank out the first version. Then depending on how it turned out, I might tune the beats or sequence.
