@throwawayacct Indeed, the cheats can help. For example you can level up and set the NPCs disposition and dominance values. You can also add inventory items to give them as gifts. Quests can also be added and advanced to different stages, but this can break stuff if you aren't careful. Powerful new cheats include advancing game time (allows faster testing of greetings and all sorts of stuff), no clip to walk through walls and locked doors and restricted zones. The most powerful new cheat of all allows you to run raw javascript while the game is running, though I'll need to document some variables and game objects for that one to be useful to the testers. It sped my testing up a lot. The issue is that the sheer number of paths is enormous now, even with the cheats.

I'm working on the detailed release notes now.

V0.8.0 (pre-alpha) of Legend of the Psyons is now live on the private tester link. This is the largest update so far and it focused on the town of Domitrix. (The next update will add in the level 7-9 forest zone.) V0.8 marks the first update of three that will see a dramatic shift in the feel and game play of the main tow. Before getting to the detailed release notes, I wanted to explain the goals of this shift and the logic behind it. I know this is a lot to read and not everyone will do so. The quick and dirty notes were posted yesterday. This is meant to open a discussion with testers that really want to help guide the future direction of the game. I'll label sections to help find points of interest.

-----> Discussion of Broader Goals for the Town <-----

Ever since I was a child playing table top D&D and the like, as well as very primitive role playing computer games, I've always found my time in "town" to often be just as fun as the actual adventures. This primarily took three forms. First, planning the grand adventure with the party. Perhaps meeting in a cozy tavern and then venturing into the market to outfit the expedition and talk to the locals to gather hearsay that might prove useful. Second, was when a break or recovery period was needed. Here I was looking for a town with interesting people to meet and fun things to do. A bit of rest and relaxation to break up the intense action quests. The third form came at the conclusion of a major quest line. I wanted to reap the rewards of my adventures. I wanted interesting things to spend my money on, including gear, enhancements, as well as activities. Most importantly, I wanted to see a town that changed due to decisions and actions that took place on the adventure.

This is the Domitrix I wish to create. The current NPCs were too limited to provide this. Kendall, Jean and Miko mark the first three of a new type of NPC that I will call the anime or major NPCs. They are far more complex than the previous NPCs. The previously most complex characters, Mya and Dominique, will be relegated to secondary romanceables. They will still get more content, but the lack of available online art limits where I can take them. Hence the new anime girls. By selecting popular anime characters, I can, and have, assembled huge libraries of pictures that allow me to create girls that feel more alive. Girls that you can really feel connected to. I was reluctant at first, as I wanted one consistent art style, but as this is a world painted by Goddess Milovana, it wasn't much of a storyline stretch to suggest that she paints some of her creations in a cute anime style. It's almost as if they are a slightly different race in the context of the game.

As some specific examples of what I mean, if you give Miko a heart-shaped chocolate (a rare loot drop), you might come back later to find a grateful Miko lying in sexy lingerie with drops of that chocolate dripping all over her body. Indeed, you can suggest creative ways to help her clean up and the picture slowly updates as you do so. The engine was upgraded to allow for NPC movement. (They were previously linked to a location.) So, for example, one of three major quest line options, that starts with the discovery of a hidden room in the library, can land Kendall in the palace dungeon. Her prison sentence actually has a time span. During that time, she'll not be found in the library or around town, but if you visit the dungeon, you'll hear her pleas for help and discover her tied up and needing rescue. You can chose to provide aid in different ways, or not. And of course she'll remember all of this. Leave her to rot and you'll be in for a world of hurt when she does get out. This is already in the game and serves as an example of major content that will go unseen if you took the quest in one of the other directions. One goal is to create characters that feel dynamic and responsive. Another is to provide huge replay potential.

The new anime girls have the standard disposition stat that effects how much they like you with logical consequences, but also a new dominance stat. Some of the NPCs will be "linked" such as Kendall and Jean. The dominance stat will not only effect how they treat you, but also how they treat each other. For example, if you foster Kendall's dominance and hinder Jean's, you might walk into Kendall's office to find her spanking Jean. I have all the infrastructure in place, and gathered the pictures and outlined ideas for these scenes, but I'll still need another update or two to implement this. There will be other linked NPCs added in the future.

Some of the new locations in this update are what I call encounter zones. These include the dungeon and the bathhouse. Of the two, the bathhouse has far more content at this time. The tavern is also going to serve as a common encounter zone, but that will take another update or two. Eventually, they will also be sprinkled all around town. I want the player to feel that a thrilling or sexy or perverted scene could be around every corner. Encounters can be short and simple, like peeping on a girl changing her swimsuit for a minute or long and elaborate with various pathways, including many pictures and custom eStim. Encounters can be with named NPCs or nameless one-offs. Right now they are mostly nameless encounters. Some are unique, one-time events, while others go into a pool of random encounters with reduced odds once you experience it once. Some encounters vary on the second and third go-around. All of the game engine infrastructure is in place for this, so that content will be greatly extended over the next few updates. I hope encounters will help to make the town feel dynamic and unpredictable. The pool of options is influenced by your level, quest options, NPC disposition and dominance stats and so forth.

Hopefully, by version 0.11.0, the town will fully serve the three roles that I mentioned above. I want it to be a place that you wish to return to over and over again. Not just to buy weapons and gear, but also to meet interesting women including love interests, play mini-games, have crazy encounters, relax in the pools and so forth. It should be responsive enough to your choices and actions that no two players are likely to have the same town experience.

--- New Content ---

* Three New Major NPCs (Anime Girls) *

Note: Kendall, Jean and Miko already have a lot of content that can be unlocked in various ways. They all feature hundreds of pics, multiple greetings, punishments and scenes with custom eStim (as per popular request). Some of their scenes play out somewhat similar to more traditional EOS teases, but they are usually more interactive. For example, you may be given the option to "fuck harder" or "fuck faster" with corresponding eStim and dialog changes. Just playing through all of Jean's current content takes something like 90 minutes, and that is not filler, like five minutes of silent stimulation. It is full of dialog and choices. Their content will be greatly expanded over the next three updates and similarly complex NPCs will be slowly introduced. Many factors determine which scenes are available such as gifts, disposition and dominance, player level, player class, dialog choices, quest outcomes and so forth. Their scenes use 15 new eStim files that I made and tweaked for appropriate feel for a specific action, like Miko's warm breath blowing across your cock.

- Kendall: The head librarian and powerful thunder witch. Some of her special content can only be experienced as a mage. She is fond of mages and really likes to dominate with her feet. She naturally leans dominant, but this can be altered. Kendall is a primary romanceable and thus has complex gifting options and her final stats will have a major impact on the (eventual) endgame. You can now complete all knowledge quests by turning them in to Kendall once you have gathered all of the information.

- Jean: Kendall's new assistant and skilled fighter. She is a major romanceable, like Kendall, so see above. She leans a bit more submissive and is designed to be more pliable in this regard than Kendall. Some of her content is exclusive to the warrior class. She features the most varied greetings and punishments in the game depending on her disposition and dominance. She is the first trainer in the game. She can be paid to teach you to do more damage with slashing weapons, but she will lose the confidence to train you, if you bring her dominance too low. (Kendall will be made a magic trainer soon for parity.)

- Miko: An adorable fox girl (called a ferine in this game) and owner of the Foxy Lady Brothel. She has the most extensive back-story in the game. For those that really want an in-depth character that you can get to know, Miko is your girl. She is not a major romanceable, because you'll eventually be able to pay her for services (coming soon), but her special scenes play out much like the romanceables. She has neutral dominance and this is not as easy to sway as is the case for Jean, or even Kendall, but it can be influenced. She can be given chocolate. She really likes chocolate, especially the heart-shaped variety. Because she is not a native of Milovana, she's much sweeter, and generally kinder, than most Milovanans, but piss her off enough and you might find your balls in the jaws of her animal spirit companion.

* Several New Town Locations *

- The Great Library: I started to build the Great Library. It features multiple rooms, including a hidden chamber with more rooms coming soon. It is the home of Kendall and Jean.

- The Foxy Lady Brothel: Owned by Miko. Although you can go in and also interact with Miko, you can't yet meet the working ladies. I added all the game mechanics already though, so hopefully I can get to this soon. If you talk to Miko, she'll explain how this system will work. In a nutshell, as you level up, new girls will be made available. Also, as you increase your sexual xp (separate from your normal experience points) new scenes will unlock with each girl. They will also each track a disposition towards you. Some will give you options and ask what you want, others will dictate your time together.

- The Bathhouse: Located behind the brothel, you must buy a timed pass from Miko to enter. You get 60 minutes for one pass and time will not tick when you are paused in the game menus. The bathhouse features two encounter zones, the changing rooms and the pools. Right now there are 14 encounters, some of which alter on a second round, so effectively about 20 or so, with many more coming soon. The changing rooms require stealth or you get kicked out, but you are free to check out the pools as desired. Sometimes you won't find anyone and generally, more encounters unlock as you level up. Eventually named NPCs will be encountered here as well. You can take a bath. This washes away body odors (a new game mechanic), replenishes hp and ap and reduces work fatigue (a mechanic I programmed, but you can't work just yet.) I had been trying to think of a way to bring in a picture gallery as many JRPGs feature, but I wanted to do it in a way that felt immersive, not just click here to review all the naughty pics you've seen so far. While bathing, you can opt to relax and daydream of your adventures. Basically, you are provided a picture slideshow featuring all of the nude pics for all of the Psyons that you have defeated. I think it is a few hundred pics at this time, but I haven't counted. The notion is that you are dreaming of the memories that the Psyons stirred to the surface. You can opt to view the pictures with or without stroking and you can opt to stroke fast or slow and light or hard with corresponding eStim. You can view this for as long as your bathroom pass lasts. This is a great option for those that wanted some "mindless" stimulation and is a nice incentive to track down and kill new types of Psyons, especially the unique bosses, as they have the biggest themed picture sets.

- Palace Dungeon: Located in the basement of the private quarters behind the locked door. There are only a few encounters here, as I ran out of time for this update. Many more coming soon. This is meant to provide lezdom content. The storyline that is still being fleshed out is that some of the women are not fully immune to the Psyon sexual energy after all. They are slowly growing hornier as the game progresses. Without any slaves to take out their sexual urges on (besides you of course) they start to turn on each other. Female on female domination is strictly forbidden, and those that get caught end up in the dungeon. Some are passive scenes that you view, others are more interactive and eventually you'll be able to break some girls out of prison. Kendall can actually end up here, depending what direction you take one of her primary quests. You can rescue her or watch her suffer a rather interesting fate if you time your dungeon visit right. Eventually, other named NPCs will have similar possible fates.

* Three New Quests *

- A Vox Knowledge quest: The Vox are a new storyline and will play a huge role in the end game. I don't want to give too much away. They were an advanced society at the end of the previous Great Turn (a world reset).

- Two very complex quests related to Kendall and Jean: These are by far the most complex quests in the game thus far. One features three main paths and many sub paths within each of those. One of them will provide you an option to view an illustrated lezdom mini-book that I wrote while experiencing some special magical tingles. I don't want to spoil these. Eventually, these quest choices are going to have major impacts on world encounters and on the relationship between Jean and Kendall, but this will take time to fully implement. I have it all sketched out though, and already gathered the needed pictures.

* Miscellaneous *

- Two new goddess ascension scenes: One has a chance to trigger if you have a Voxian artifact in your inventory. She does not like the Vox. The other has to do with whether or not you decide to read the forbidden knowledge contained in the lezdom book. She can sense the blasphemous thoughts running through your mind.

- Two new player death endings: When the player dies, a scene plays out. Now a new scene plays out if you die at a higher level, I think around 5 or so. There is also another death scene that can trigger if you caught a glimpse of Goddess Milovana's true form. There are now two chances to do so during ascension, instead of one, and I changed the pictures for reasons that I don't want to spoil. There are still no Psyon capture end scenes for cumming. Eventually, the amount they reveal about their mysterious origins (before they torture you) will be based on your player level when you have your accident. I'm still adjusting this story a bit, so that is why I am still holding off on that content for now. I have a notebook full of ideas.

- Two new boons: Both of these can be easily missed, by design. One provides increased carry weight. You have one chance to get it when you first visit Jean in her office. The other is related to reading the lezdom book on one of Kendall's quests that sends you to the abandoned cathedral.

- Tavern eves dropping: You can now overhear conversations in the tavern that will sometimes help guide you to an awaiting quest line. For example: "Did you hear that so-and-so was looking to find her such-and-such?". These hints will only trigger when you meet the quest prerequisites. This is a nice feature for those that want a bit more guidance.

- Mya info updates: Mya now has dialog entries for some of the new NPCs and a few dozen new "tips" related to the new content and game mechanics.

- Character sheet upgrades: You will now see a message explaining that you need to kill a Psyon or complete a quest to finish the ascension process if you have more than the required xp. This was a point of confusion for some. For example, you can get xp for many things, like picking a lock, but even if this gives you enough xp to level up, it will only trigger once you make a kill or finish a quest. This is by design. Ascending for merely picking the right dialog option or disarming a trap wouldn't feel right in my opinion. There would also be timing issues associated with this. The character sheet now tracks max gold (the richest you've ever been). You will now see displays related to the new hygiene stink mechanic. The display also includes info related to brothel experience and work experience, but these are not implemented yet. I just wanted to get everything set for them. With the boring game engine code in place, I can write the content when I'm in the mood to do so.

- Dozens of new inventory items: Mostly related to flowers, clothing, sex toys and Voxian artifacts. Also a few new weapons.

--- Game Engine Upgrades, New and Altered Game Mechanics ---

- Hygiene: In my personal testing, I felt this really added a lot to the game. It is fairly sophisticated. The game now tracks all sorts of separate odors and they fade with time or you can use some inventory items like soap and perfume to reduce them. You can also bathe in the bathhouse. The women respond very differently to too much smell. Some are more sensitive than others, some will only be concerned with certain types of smell, some will just insult you, some will dislike you, some will refuse to do business with you, some refuse to talk and others will punish you. So for example, if a domme just made you lick her feet, the next woman that you meet might respond to the fact that your breath smells like feet. I find it a lot of fun, immersive and gives the ladies another way to humiliate you. It is also another way to make each NPC feel unique. Many of the older NPCs received updates to account for this.

- Combat timing overhaul: Several testers stated that damage over time (DOT) should be more... over time. I agreed and the timing combat mechanic has been altered in a significant way. As an example of the old mechanic, if you applied a DOT to your opponent, they would get that damage at the end of your turn and the end of their turn. It will now only apply at the end of their turn. So the effects will essentially last twice as long but do half the damage over the same amount of time. A DOT lasting three turns will expire once both the player and the enemy have each had three turns. This also applies to all negative and positive effects. This renders the boosting potions more powerful. Potions needed a boost anyway, to be worth the cost in both gold and action points. This also means that enemies that can have random potions in their inventory could really provide unique challenges. I really like the way this turned out. Please provide feedback.

- NPC travel and dominance: Many new functions were added that allow me to have NPCs change locations. You might have options to explore a room when the NPC is not there that are not available when they are watching you. The new dominance stat that was explained earlier is also fully implemented in the NPC handling functions.

- Internal changes to player travel: These were implemented to make it easier for me to add new locations. It does not impact game play. I only mention it, so that testers can be on alert for any new navigation bugs.

- Work fatigue and experience: This is in preparation for working "jobs". There will be an extensive system to get paid gold for providing humiliating or painful entertainment for the tavern patrons. Better paying (more extreme) options will require a certain level of experience. Working will cause a special type of fatigue that can be mitigated via bathing or energy potions. All the needed functions are there and this content will come out in 0.9 or 0.10. It should be an interesting way to make a living.

- Sexual experience tracking: Pretty much the same deal as the work system, but with opposite cash flow. This is for upcoming brothel content.

--- Tweaks ---

* By popular demand, the crows are now easier to capture.

* The hidden content behind the map in the cathedral library is now easier to spot (sneak check).

* Some of the text in the well tunnels for the puzzle door and gear room have been updated to fit the new Vox storyline.

* Bea's Angels and Demons mini-game advantage for having a pretty vagina instead of a gross penis has been reduced from 5 to 3. On the very first game, she is extra nice and plays with an advantage of only 1. ;-)

* Added a few more wishing coins around the world to find. (The well must first be activated.)

* The hidden levers in the well tunnels have been made easier to spot (sneak check) and now, once you pull any lever, all coffers in the tunnels will unlock, not just the ones in that room.

* Slightly altered the queen's starting dialog and added a pic for her foot kissing option at the start of the game.

* Edited some of Dominique's harsher bum cleaning scenes to include visual gas clouds. (I also plan to add toxic fume damage to be more consistent with other similar scenes in the game.)

--- Cheat Console Upgrades ---

(Developer cheat tools are becoming increasingly important for testing the extensive game content and branching options.)

* Print Met: Will display (in browser console) a list of the names of all women that you have thus met as well as their current disposition (and dominance if they have that stat). They are both a 0 to 100 scale. For dominance, anything below 40 leans submissive and above 60 leans dominant. For disposition, below (about) 10 would indicate hatred, above (about) 50 means they really like you.

* Dominance Name #: Works just like the prior disposition cheat, but obviously with the new dominance stat.

* Advance Time #: This is hugely useful. It advances game time by the specified number of seconds, maxing around two hours. The new anime NPCs will only change state every so often. You can really accelerate this now. This reset will not trigger when you are in the room with them for obvious reasons, so be sure to leave first. You can also test other timed events. For example, Dominique's cleanings can only trigger every 30 to 60 minutes or so. You can test an expiring bathhouse pass, timed temporary player effects, the fading of stink with time and so forth.

* Clip On/Off: If you turn off clipping, you can travel in all six directions without any restrictions. Be careful with this one, you can end up off map or in a place too early that can break a quest line. You can use this to get passed a locked door, or down the well without using the rope or vine for example. It makes stuff like getting to the puzzle door room in the tunnel mazes much, much easier.

* Execute (javascript code): This is the most powerful cheat yet. I finally figured out a way to get around the lack of an exec() function in the highly restrictive EOS engine. I'll need to post some of the game variables and objects to be useful to other testers, and obviously you'll need to know javascript. This one new cheat has probably sped up my own personal testing several fold. For example you could type, "execute player.bathhouse = 3600" to give yourself a one hour bathhouse pass. You can also read data out by adding "return" after the execute. For example, "execute return player.stinkAss" to get the ass component of the player's stink value.

--- Bug Fixes ---

* The puzzle door was supposed to be in the center of the tunnel maze. Due to a typo, it was shifted down and to the right. It is now in the center.

* Nocollet, the tavern owner, had the wrong pickpocket inventory. It is now more appropriate to her character.

* Refusing Mya's grandmother quest could cause the knowledge quest for the Great Gear to be rendered unable to be completed. I only noticed because knowledge quests can now be turned in to Kendall once finished. This issue is now resolved. (When you miss info due to a choice related to a knowledge quest, the game takes note of that. You'll get paid less when you turn it in, but it will still advance to the turn in stage when the time comes instead of hang in limbo.)

* Wishing for the love of Milovana with an activated well and correct coin would crash the game. This is now fixed. Feel free to wish for her. While I was in there, I improved the code for handling honorifics such as Lady Jade and Goddess Milovana. Their inclusion or omission should not matter.

* The divine vitality boon that you can get from the goddess at a fairly high level was only giving +10 max AP instead of the stated +20 AP. This is now fixed. I doubt anyone received this yet, without cheats.

* When you rescued Pinelope in the tunnels via the teleport potion quest path, the potion was not removed from your inventory. Now it is properly removed.

-----> Plans for the Next Two or Three Updates <-----

My time over the next few updates will be evenly divided between the new forest zone to the north and fleshing out the town as described earlier. I hope that 0.11 will hit the settled alpha stage, as opposed to the current pre-alpha. By that I mean, all the game mechanics and features will be in place and updates after that will be focused on new content and minor tweaks.

The forest zone will be mostly procedurally generated, much like the graveyard, but hopefully much better. I've learned a lot since then. It will be a level 7-9 area with new Psyons and new quests. There will also be caves off to either side. I'm working on a new algorithm for making tunnels that would more resemble an ant nest, as opposed to the more traditional maze of the well tunnels.

The following is a to-do list for the town. Please feel free to message me with your personal desires for my focus on 0.9, as I obviously can't get to all of this in a single update. Of course if you have ideas not on this list, feel free to share those too.

- Brothel content, starting with Miko's special "endurance" test before she lets you pay for appointments. This will be a major gold sink.

- Jobs, primarily in the tavern, but I want to add chastity cage display model for Dominique's shop as well. This will be a humiliating and painful way to earn some extra gold. There will be a progression system. It will likely start with simple foot worship duty. You'll be put on standby as women call you over to perform various tasks and the like. There will be at least some interactivity, choice of dialog and actions. If you don't do a good job, your pay will be reduced and you'll earn less work experience. For example, an advanced scene could involve cbt. The woman tells you she wants to practice her martial arts, using your balls as the target. She tells you to spread your legs and you have the option to spread them a bit, or very wide. Very wide would result in more pain, but also a more satisfactory job report. You'll cycle through a random pool of events like that and get a report at the end of the time period. As new types of service unlock, Nicollet will first ask if you want to accept it. Thus you will be able to opt out of certain fetishes like golden showers, or perhaps you want the humiliation jobs, but not the pain jobs. I may use rejected job types as a means to filter some of the random town encounters that share that theme. Please share your thoughts about this, and what sorts of job themes you'd like to see.

- Tavern encounters, such as meeting Jean drunk at the bar and deciding where to take it from there.

- More dungeon encounters.

- More bathhouse encounters.

- Random town encounters based on quest outcomes, such as fuck demons on the rampage depending on how you resolve Kendall's conjuration quest.

- A new set of "linked" NPCs similar to Kendall and Jean. Their names are Aqua and Princess Ember and I've already gathered and edited their pics.

- Interactive scenes of Kendall and Jean based on quest choices and their relative dominance levels.

- Making Kendall a magic trainer, much like Jean can train slashing weapons.

- Add an NPC to the tavern that can tighten bow weapons. Currently you can overcharge magical attacks and sharpen slashing weapons, but ranged weapons have no equivalent. This person could probably also be a ranged attack trainer.

- Finish the library and a quest I have planned to find out the history of Jean's enchanted sword. This will include an additional librarian NPC.

- Add Raiden's content, Miko's assistant. She is meant to sometimes be left in charge of the brothel when Miko is not there. You see her introduced, but that is all right now.

- Two more mini-games. Angels and Demons is a mix of luck and strategy. I'd like one that is just luck and one that is just strategy. Obviously, the luck one is far easier to program. I have no clear ideas for the strategy one yet, but I really enjoyed inventing Angels and Demons. These will probably be upstairs in the tavern.

- Expand the palace private quarters.

- Expand the Temple of the Gear.

- Add the special third piece of equipment quest lines for the mage (cloth armor) and the rogue (shadow ring) to be on par with the existing warrior (necklace, AKA Dominique's slave collar).

Played through some of the intro stuff. Catching the birds is much more reasonable, but there were still some misses, so I think it is much better. The DOT being spread out seems much better to me, and makes the base damage of the item more important too. I appreciate the increase in content in the town, and I am looking forward to seeing the change in how Angels and Demons plays out. The use of anime characters doesn't seem out of place at all.

One noticeable typo in Jean's first encounter in her office. I think the word you were looking for is "amenable" (you typed something that started with an 'e', possibly emeniable...) I don't remember exactly where in that encounter it happened.

I will continue to explore things. This is a very enjoyable game.

@FatherDarkness: I can't find Jean's "amenable" typo. This is during the translation intro scene? That dialog has many branches and also depends of your class if you can recall any more detail. Did you play as a warrior, rogue or mage?

My bad, I misremembered where the typo was. It is in Miko's tour of the facilities.

I'll be on vacation for two weeks. I may be able to check on the forum a few times, but I can't fix anything until I return. No major bugs reported thus far. Please keep the reports coming, including typos. When I return, I'll fix those with an update and then start work on 0.9 over the last two weeks of August. I'm curious to hear who people like most... Kendall, Jean or Miko. :-)

I started from the beginning again with the new update. So far so good. Crows are definitely easier to catch. I do like in the well once you unlock the coffers, they all unlock. However, the first 5 or 6 Pyson’s I came in contact with in the well were the same one. I’d love to see it get mixed up more. Is it just me or does it actually seem like it saves and loads quicker as well? I’ll continue testing as I get the opportunity. I try not the use the cheats and just play it out. I am looking forward to Mimi’s endurance test! Really bummed when I clicked it and it wasn’t available. What a dagger to the heart! Keep up the great work and I will report back with any other concerns or issues.

I did find one minor grammar error. It was during the scene with Miko, where she asks you about her armpit. I unfortunately do not recall the word. I believe it was a two letter word and the second letter was just mistyped.

Back from vacation. No major bugs for Legend of the Psyons V0.8 were reported. I'll begin work on V0.9 tomorrow starting with the forest and then more town stuff.

For those having trouble with the library door riddle... you can sometimes get a hint by eavesdropping at the tavern and Mya will also drop a big clue when she first sees you if you encountered the door, but didn't solve the riddle. If you you still get stuck on this tough riddle, send me a message.

I fixed the typo in Miko's armpit licking scene mentioned by ILuvPlanes above and also fixed a small bug that could cause saved data from V0.7 to be incorrectly assessed as likely compatible, when it was not. That will probably be the end of 0.8 updates, unless something game-breaking is discovered. I'll just push minor fixes into 0.9, which I really hope to get out in September. Please continue to report bugs and typos either here or via private message.

I spent the day planning and collecting a bunch of art for the forest zone, so now I'm ready to start programming! :w00t:

So far work is going well in making the new forest zone for Legend of the Psyons. I'm trying to apply the lessons learned and player feedback to make the forest better than the previous procedurally generated zones. For starters, there will be more visual picture diversity. Already, there are about 35 pictures. I also increased the sophistication of the generator to prevent the same location from appearing twice in a row as you explore. This will help create a better sense of movement and exploration. Also, instead of having just a static percentage for rare locations (like a woodland loot stash), the generator starts with a very low chance that slowly climbs the more you explore without getting the lucky roll. This will create a more consistent feel with fewer statistical flukes while maintaining an element of luck and diverse replay value.

I pushed out a hot fix for a reported issue with buying wine in the tavern that could cause your gold total to set to NaN, and effectively unlimited. Progress with the forest continues to go well. I'm working on a new character that you have to summon with tribute. She's the guardian of the forest and the first demigoddess in the game. You have to impress her with both your mind and your cock to earn her boon. :-P Once you satisfy her, she'll set up residence in town... the soon to come residential district. It will contain houses of various women that you meet in town and on your adventures. You need to get their "address" before you can visit their house. I have a lot of plans for the residential area, including a woman that you can meet that will sell you illegal underground love potions and the like, but this is a few updates away.

A few people have inquired about how to use the new execute cheat command that was added to V0.8 that allows one to execute any javascript code while the game is running to manipulate game data and the like. V0.9 (probably out around the end of September) now has additional cheat commands that dump the player data object to the browser console. By exposing the data structure and its current values, it should allow for easier use of this powerful cheat function. Similarly, the object that contains world data and also the object that contains the data of the current location cell can be viewed. So for example, to alter the name of the attack stored in slot one, open the cheat console and type: execute player.attack1.name = "Justice". Additional examples will be included in the cheat console help text.

That's gonna make testing a snap!

BTW, I still can't find errors in the playthrough that aren't being immediately addressed. Professional, I hope you do this for a living. Also, you should post your Patreon or something for folks to help you continue this project.
