I just got a toy that's made from silicone and it says to use a water based lube. The lube I currently have is oil based. If I use the oil based lube on the silicone will it damage it?
Thanks for any advice.

Dammit.ariareflection wrote: Yes it will damage it.If you want a cheap solution, go to the drug store and buy KY Jelly. If you want one of the best water based lubes (in my opinion), buy Liquid Silk from a sex shop or order it online. I doesn't gets sticky like the other ones.

It's a 15" black rubber cock.slaafbarry wrote:i wonder what kind of toy it is to be honest

Depending on what's it REALLY made of (not everything that says it is silicone really is silicone), most hard rubber toys shouldn't be too affected by the oil based lubricant.Dlx wrote:Quick question about the effects of lube types on different materials.
