[Balans/Testing/Development] Stroke Hero Story - small RPG tease.

Good day to all.

So as i was discovering Webteases in my mind born idea to make another game in Unity based on webteases.
And that's how the idea of Stroke Hero Story born.

This is a preview / test version of game. I need some ideas about balans, difficult, stroke numbers.
In game for now, there is one quest/fight with boss. Some random mini-fights, and base mechanicst of how game will look like.

What you do? Jerk!

Do what characters told you in dialogs.
How mini-fights works?
Spoiler: show
You get random jerk cards - jerk how is on card.
After that you will be attacked by enemy - stroke how many times it tolds you.
Controls:

  • Mouse:

Code: Select all

Use buttons on UI with mouse.
  • Keyboard

Code: Select all

Move: Arrows or WSAD
Attacks: 1,2,3 keys
Next Dialog: SPACE
Show/Hide minimap: N
Show/Hide fullmap: M
Show/Hide learn-menu B
Quit Game : ESC
For now game works only on 1920x1080.

Small update:
I made UI look like from game, and improve scripts for display pics/vid in fight.

Plans for future:
As it should be some kind of RPG I will work on fight.
1: Based on attack type ( slow, med, fast) damage will have some multiplier.
2: On the start, player will not have possibility to use fast / med attacks - He will have to leanr them.

Very nice concept, I love it!

I did test the demo and the difficulty look fine fine to me if it's the starting difficulty and you plan to make more difficult later in the game.

I also think you should maybe add a timer somewhere because some of the task need you to calculate time, like for example massage your balls for 30 sec. So it would be nice if their was a easy way to count the time in the game.

I have also have a bug with the lust queen Emily's fight, I don't see any image it's just a grey screen.

And I think it would be nice if their was a option to hide the mini map for a more challenging experience if the player want to.

New version:
- Each jerk is jerk point to buy new jerk attacks. To buy new attacks press B and then press on attack uou want to buy.
GREEN are available to buy, RED means you already have it or don't have enough jerks.

BUGFIXES:
- Fixed problem with Emily.

DEV STUFF:
- I rewrite way to adding dialogs, to make them easier to create.

- Timers are in plans for future. I have them in mind from beginning but dont have enough time to add them.
- Fixed.
- Good idea, it's easy to make so I will add it next time.

Very nice addition with the new update! :-D

But I have found a bug :

When I buy new jerks, in the nest few game I always end up having a bug where the there is no more attacks showing up and it's not possible to continue, the game is just block there.
Or the other thing that can happen, it's sometime their is no picture and I can press the attack button but nothing happen except for the total strokes from fights still growing up.
But that's only happening when I buy new jerks.

I fixed bug with attacks - small mistake in code.
And I think bug with pics was because of it.
