Re: [FEEDBACK] Trials of the Succubi v2.0
Is there some way to auto play things? Lots of clicking.
Re: [FEEDBACK] Trials of the Succubi v2.0
With the way I have set it up, not that I know of. Sadly there is a tradeoff of having things autoplay which makes you wait or by being able to click through. My additional problem is that for my click through sections there are button presses that stop a player from using spacebar or rapid clicks the whole time.frankendude wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 7:42 am Is there some way to auto play things? I am curious if you think that it is a lot of clicking relative to other adult games or just a lot of clicking compared to traditional metronome Milovana teases (I agree on this one).
One big thing that will alleviate clicking is that the higher your % completion gets the further the game lets you skip forward.

Re: [FEEDBACK] Trials of the Succubi v2.0
Is there a way to start a new game by using one of the Skip options and still choose the fiance's gender? Seems like it still asks the normal starter questions (virginity, biggest turn-on etc.) but not the finace's gender. In my last attempt it gave me Caprice, is that the standard way or is it just a 50/50 chance for either?
Absolutely love the tease by the way!

Re: [FEEDBACK] Trials of the Succubi v2.0
I think that was an oversight and I believe it locks it into female each time you use skip ahead(s). I'll try to add that option now and hopefully it will let me re-publish (It's always a fight due to the file size). I'm also glad that people are willing to do the male fiancé route, lots of additional content and there isn't gay porn unless you seek them out specifically.after8 wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 2:35 pm Is there a way to start a new game by using one of the Skip options and still choose the fiance's gender? Edit: I have uploaded the new skip choice.
I absolutely love that you love the tease!
Re: [FEEDBACK] Trials of the Succubi v2.0
That's honestly counter-intuitive and confusing. The only rationale for picking the gay route in the first place is because you want gay scenes. If you don't want gay scenes, you just pick the straight route. (I'm honestly not sure what's on the enby route, as there's no photo and thus I assumed it's a work in progress and unfinished and didn't spend any time there).
Requiring players to pick the gay route to see non-gay scenes that are exclusive to the gay route doesn't make any sense. If they're not gay scenes, why are they exclusive to the gay route? Why aren't they available on the straight route as well? Having straight scenes exclusive to the gay route is just as weird as if there were gay scenes exclusive to the straight route.
Re: [FEEDBACK] Trials of the Succubi v2.0
That's good feedback to hear that the way I set it up can be off-putting to some. I get that intuitively people might assume that the female fiancé is a straight route but understand that I did not label them that way. I've actually been considering optional "gay" content in the female fiancé path due to some people's request. (When I say optional it would be telegraphed and avoidable) It would have happened already but I am still prioritizing certain scenes over others due to space constraints.Taleasaur wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 1:15 amThat's honestly counter-intuitive and confusing. My approach may not have been the best but for me to explain why I did it this way would be the following spoiler:

Re: [FEEDBACK] Trials of the Succubi v2.0
Hi! Have to say this is the absolute best tease I've ever played. I love the characters, love the general vibe, love the different personalities and every run has been a surprise.
I mostly have no complains but I'll try to give some useful feedback other than total appreciation for the absurd amount of time that was put into this tease.
It's not really clear to me how the "start later in the day" feature works. There's a ton of Gabbie related content I'd love to play but when i start later I begin after the message exchange. I'm guessing it might be horribly complex to add, but if it wasn't I'd love a quick checklist like "Did you message Gabbie?" to start you where you want to be and make replayability more confortable.
As far as new content go I'd say that the path carved by the previous updates is great. More relationships, different personalities. I loved Karma bad end, it was surprising and totally unexpected.
Great job, can't wait to see more!

Re: [FEEDBACK] Trials of the Succubi v2.0
I'm still working on the start later in the day stuff. Originally I was trying to keep it as minimal as possible and left a lot of things off. Eventually things really outgrew that system which is where we are now. You are right that I forgot to add Gabbie options and have done so now for when the next version launches.Caleidus wrote: ↑Wed Jun 08, 2022 1:30 pm It's not really clear to me how the "start later in the day" feature works. Thank you so dang much for your compliments! The current ver 2.0 is about as large as Milovana allows even after all the cleanup I went through. Thanks to fapnip's skill and creativity, they were able to since compress a good 1.2 meg or so out of the tease that I have to play with now. Version 2.4 is slated to come out in time for July 4th and has greatly expanded on the already ridiculous amount of content.
Already created and in betatesting now:

I have to say that I'm still really confused. I did not mean to confuse and will think of better ways to present it while also figuring out if any content change is necessary. Again, thank you for letting me see a potential improvement.

You created the male fiancé route to both cater to those who wanted a gay male option and to cater to those who wanted a cuckolding option by pairing your male fiancé with the female succubi? But since some may be into one or the other, you made both optional, thus the male route contains both gay content and cuckolding but both are optional? And the reason there's straight content exclusive to the gay route is that it's the only one with cuckolding scenes featuring your fiancé and the female succubi?
I'm not sure that it would occur to anyone looking for cuckolding content to pick the gay male fiancé route. I would think that path would just contain gay content in addition to the straight content for a bisexual MC.
I wonder if it wouldn't be easier to have cuckolding content by just not covering up the face of the male actors in the photos and just saying that they're incubi having their way with your woman?
For the enby fiancé route, maybe put in photos of an enby porn star like Jiz Lee? I realize there's no perfect choice, but I figure an enby star like Jiz Lee is better than no picture at all. The lack of a picture seemed really odd to me, making it feel unfinished.
As a complete aside, have you ever thought about porting all your photos and writing to another engine, like Ren'Py? That would free you from Milovana limitations, give people access to tons of save slots, and really allow you to expand for a 3.0 release. You could even maybe add a female MC route for lesbian content?
Re: [FEEDBACK] Trials of the Succubi v2.0
Also, I understand that you didn't explicitly label them that way, but that's kinda how they come across.indyc wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 3:50 amThat's good feedback to hear that the way I set it up can be off-putting to some. Male MC, female fiancé implies an interest in straight, male/female sex. Just like Male MC, male fiancé implies an interest in gay, male/male sex. Your male MC may be bisexual in either route, but the fiancé gender implies your interest and what content you're ostensibly looking for. It's assumed that there's going to be straight, male/female content in either route because of the succubi, but the assumption is that the male fiancé route will also feature gay male content in addition or allow you to decline the succubi advances for a pure gay route.
I'm not sure I understand why people are requesting optional gay content in the female fiancé path when there's a gay path available, but I'm all for more content being available for either path. Presumably if you weren't limited by space constraints you could have people chose the sexuality of their MC at the start and thus have separate gay, straight, and bisexual paths featuring succubi, incubi, or both.
Re: [FEEDBACK] Trials of the Succubi v2.0
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I wanted to marinate on what could be done about the male/female decision approach for a while and to get the next release ready. Your understanding is correct (other than the fact that there is also cuckhold content on the female fiancé route) and I agree that it probably wouldn't occur to the vast majority looking for additional hetero content. The implications you have stated are exactly how most interpret them.Taleasaur wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 11:58 pmI have to say that I'm still really confused. I didn't want just any incubi to mess with your fiancé, I wanted the main characters of the story to use your fiancé as a threat. Because of that it was not as simple as not covering up male faces.
That is a good model suggestion for enby but I wouldn't take it beyond the cell phone photos if I do. As jarring as it is I kind of left it blank to allow for someone to roleplay whatever they had in their mind. However, like I said I might add cellphone photos if you think it would help.Taleasaur wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 11:58 pm For the enby fiancé route, maybe put in photos of an enby porn star like Jiz Lee? I have somewhat regretted being in the EOS engine due to countless limitations but I don't have any plans to port. The only thing that would make me want to would be increased exposure of Renpy or something else. However, if I was starting a new project I would make it a completely new experience.
