Furthermore, I could narrow the search. For example, I could click on Ecik's profile, then click to view his posts, and then from there, search for #B3Beanieset ... and then, I could see all of the sets written by Ecik for BBBeanie ... nice!

I think this is the way to go. It would make it VERY easy to search for sets written for you ... which would be the primary purpose. Also, if I wanted to write a set for BBBeanie, but wasn't sure what was going on him, I could search #B3Beanieset and see all of the recent sets written for him ... and then I could see if their were any storylines going on, or if he was denied or came in his last set ... Also, it would display the sets written for him in order ... so, I could know (without having to consult the monthly report) when he received his last set ... yeah. This is the way.

I think we should implement this immediately. If that is the thread consensus, I'll go back and tag all of the sets that I have written. (I wouldn't expect the old vets to do this for ALL of their sets, lol ... I'm sure some people are over 50+ sets written EASILY ...)

I think everyone should include their tag at the top of their rules.


My ONLY concern/complaint, would be how could we ALSO use tags to track authors? Say I am a big fan of lmind's work (which turns out to be true, lol). Is there a way I could easily search for sets written by him, like using an author tag? I feel like using TWO sets of tags might get confusing, though ... and I can ALWAYS search manually through a user's posts if I wish ... There might be a FEW perks for including an author tag as well, but ... I'm concerned about the potential confusion created by having two sets of tags ...but, maybe it wouldn't be so bad and I'm overthinking it ...

It COULD work like this: If BBBeanie writes a set for Helequin, he could tag it: #Heles3t #ByB3Beanie It's a set for Helequin, making it a "Hele set" ... but, it's written BY BBBeanie, making it "#ByB3Beanie." I think that could work ... not too confusing ... what do you guys think?

Also, don't put your ACTUAL tag in your rules, because then it will get tagged every time you post your rules ... Instead, just say what your tag will be. I'm going to make mine "Dynamo" because I feel like "FattsSet" will be too easy to skip an "s" ...

I think this could be problematic. If different people start doing different misspells and such it could just end in chaos. Lately I’ve tagged all my sets with; “@ name set” without the spaces. I've tried searching this on multiple people and currently the only posts that appear are ones made by me. So if you search “@ brain set” (no quotes and no spaces.) then you will only see the sets I made for him. So I honestly don’t think intentional misspelling is a good idea. It doesn't seem necessary and it could get confusing.

However I agree that I should move the tags to the top and probably replace the @ with a #.

I think the +/- thing is a great idea. Like Fatts said; 'I think the main function of the monthly report is to help people who would like to write a set figure out who to create a set for.' When I have no sets in the works I do tend to check with the updates to see who is due. And this just makes that really clear.

And thanks Fatts for the heads up about my mistake with the every_one tag. This is a perfect example of how useful it can be to point out admin errors. It just makes everything clearer and smoother overtime. On the topic of tags though. You are right that this site does not have an official tag system (that I am aware of). But you can still use the symbol to narrow down search results etc. If I write "brian set", without @ or # than I don’t think it will show up when I search with @ or #... I’ll test with this post to be sure, but if it works that sort of becomes a way to avoid mistakes in of itself.

I don't think this SPECIFICALLY would work too well. maybe keep the @BBBeanie set, but include the type of set or how far down it is in the set rabbit hole? i think @'ing someone should stay, but we certainly could be more specific about what we are @'ing about or in what... order(?) we are on.

Okay, so, here’s the thing … You guys try it, but … I’m 95% sure that Milovana does NOT recognize # as a character. When I search results for #everyone set (no space) it searches for everyone set (no space), leaving off the #. However, when you do the same thing with the @ symbol, Milovana seems to recognize @ as a character, and so if you search @everyone set (no space) it searches for @everyone set (no space), including the @. Therefore, I *think* we should be using the @, as that gives us ONE MORE CHARACTER with which to differentiate search results. I’m 97% sure Milovana does NOT use hash tags, BUT … since the special character @ seems to be used as a searchable character in words, I propose we use @ as a de facto hashtag.

If anyone sees a problem with this, let me know.

Okay, lots of discussion and it’s all good to see. I’ll start using the new format in March. I’ll attempt to start some form of tagging sets as well, and hopefully it just catches on. Be sure to use tags without spaces is the critical thing for ease of searching. Thinking Nameset and WBName (written by) will be easiest.

I’m not so sure what an author tag would help with, but it’s not a big deal to add in.

Thanks for the advice, I did end up taking that challenge so I'll be attempting an HFO quite often. It did seem to encumber some with all the audios in Hele's link. I wish there was a way to sort them on soundgasm instead of just a list of all of her works in the order she posted them. I'll look into your links, and if you have any more recommendations, I'm open to them

there are a few other hypnotists, but most are either one I can't really get into because of a man's voice, or they are behind a large paywall like erotic-hypnosis.com (if I remember correctly)
shybbydex.com does have a paywall for some of its stuff, of course, but most of it, especially the beginner stuff, is free.
