Yes... the Caprice stuff is very much under construction and I haven't even touched it again so far. I usually only paste on ending content after all the other content is locked in for that version. I am happy to add Caprice choice and content but out of curiosity why specifically tease you? In my mind she was going to be one of the more non-nonsense characters as a but of a reprieve. If this is not what people want I am happy to give them what they want.
This is my personal opinion of course, but I think it would be nice with some teasing. I really liked the striptease part of her scene for example. Maybe you could add a part where she finds out about your addiction from the succubus encounter and uses that against you :innocent: But of course, if you intend her to be more strait forward in the story then that is fine as well :-)

Just found this Tease and played it for the first time. It is different, and so very well implemented! Initially I could not really understand the concept, as it is quite different from most other teases. But I was intrigued, and just went ahead. And got more and more lost into it! :smile:

Is it a complete Tease at this time, or is it stubbed with dead ends? Because I ran into a dead end. In Christmas edition, at the garage. I walked away quite fast, didn’t let her tempt me much, and then the game abruptly ended with some "Under Construction" or "No more Implemented" text (don't remember exact phrasing), and I was ejected into the wedding scene.

There are some minor inconsistencies in the text phrases, but it's understandable since it is built around a reusable database of scenes, so there are bound to be some mismatches. Like "I remember you where addicted to ass" even though I had constantly opted away from all such choices before. But two things struck me as especially inconsistent:

The first thing was when enter the kitchen, the girl with ice cream cones. It start with me approaching and greeting her by her name. But I had never encountered that girl before (I think...), so how would I know her name?

Second thing is the Christmas tree scene.

It starts with something like "Hello XXX, welcome". Then after the session you can get drawn back to her for just a glimpse more, and something like "Maybe this isn't one more full session". Then it starts with "Hello XXX, welcome" again. And you instantly know it is yet a full session starting from the beginning. Also it is totally irrational for her to say welcome one more time, when you never left...
And as I think was already mentioned earlier, when the Edge button is displayed, the buttons to the right "Ask her to hold position" or "Wish her Happy Christmas and leave" should be switched off. They make no sense there, and in some case even allow you to leave, instead of Edge, which I assume was not the intention...

I like the idea of buttons with a countdown, so the button option disappear. But I found in some places it was too much new information at the same time. There was a lot of new dialogue, combined with new buttons. And once I had read all text on the screen and grasped what was happening, the button had already timed out.

One addition that could make this Tease even better would be to combine it with EStim. Which I think could be done fairly easy, and very easy to switch on/off for those not using it. Simply add a constant sound (stim file) on a loop playing the entire time, to give a low intensity "background stimulation". Then during time for Edge, or when otherwise in line with the story, play another sound (stim file) with more intensity.

Well, hope I didn't sound to negative in my feedback, because my main objective with this post was to give a lot of credit! Great work!!! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Great! I love when new people stumble upon it. I built it to where you can replay at about 4 times before you have seen the "majority" of the game. It would take over 20 plays to see 95%+. I would be curious to hear your remarks down the road. If that wasn't enough, the version I am trying to get out before Christmas sends that even higher.

Well, while there is an effton more content on the way the storyline won't go that much further past the point you are referring to. If the ending feels too abrupt I plan to work on that just a bit and eventually when the construction decides to end, you won't have that message.

I will search for that "I remember" phrase that you mention. That shouldn't be happening but there could be a misplaced variable callout. I thought I made pretty sure to not make such claims without player input but will look into it.

The Hello "XXX, welcome" girl you had to have met at least by the point you are upstairs somewhat early on. I have a new naming system in the next version that should clear up some of that recognition.

There are multiple Christmas tree scenes and I am not sure where the bug you found was. However, I will be searching for it and let you know when I fix it. (did you remember who it was?)

I know there are possible bugs that can happen when the side buttons are going when a main choice happens. I remove and bring them back in a few places around those choices but neither way has been working that well. I do understand what you are saying and agree with it. I just don't have a good fix yet.

The too much new information at the same time was something I was worried about and will work on adjusting those timers. As a warning, some of those are supposed to be difficult even if most of them are not. (I doubt the ones in question were one of those challenging ones though)

Though a rudimentary Estim might be possible, it will be VERY low down on my priority list considering the fact that I already cant accomplish what I want on it working at least 6 hours a day on it beyond day job and hobby. I want to get my core wishlist done first. I do like the thought of background repeating though if I get around to it.

You don't sound too negative at all. In fact I need MORE of this constructive criticism from the forum in general. I didn't get nearly the amount of critical feedback I was looking for and need to know how to make it the #1 tease on the site. Let me know if you want to be one of my beta testers, I could use a lot more specific feedback like this.

Yea, just a bit tidy up to make a more controlled end would go a far way. It was the abrupt ending more then anything else that surprised me.

Well, it might not have been that exact phrase, so don't overdo it trying to search for it. When I stumble on something like that again I will note down the exakt phrasing/girl so it will be possible to backtrack in the code.

She was brunette, had on a Christmas dress (red with white fluffy things) with a hoodie. First time the hoodie was down, then she said something like "One more time, now with the hood on", and in that set she also started to blow snow into the camera.

I'm always willing to help and chip in! However I'm kind of an irregular visitor to this forum, and to running Teases. Sometimes I'm out for weeks, and sometimes I'm here daily. So you shouldn't do any time planning around me, if I'm able to help out right when you needed it would be more of a lucky chance!

I enjoyed the tease very much, I'd give it 8/10.

Personally I would love some additional themes/features and scenes, some which include:
- Cheats and or codes to help explore the game without having to start from the beginning every time, like adding custom addictions and soul values(setting values in your save).
- Femdom option or more femdom aspects to game, maybe like setting penis size for custom dialog like SPH. If it makes it easier just make Femdom an event like you have for Christmas and stuff.
- Hotter chicks, idk if it was just me but there were only a few hot girls but majority were just decent looking but that could just be personal preference. Also can you add more variety like Asian or Ebony girls.

Other than that I found the story quite good, I've played it like 10 times back to back already, very curious to see what will happen after the marriage :innocent:

Amazing job!! Legitimately cannot wait to the next update!!

Thanks, I want to make it a 9 or 10/10 and am working hard to get it there. I am serious when I say I want to make it the best one ever made.

-Codes to not have to replay the whole game has been suggested before but outside of the save function, I really don't know how to do this. If fapnip has not quit entirely I will ask him if it could be done with all of my variables or if anyone else wants to volunteer help on this end. Trust me, it is not as simple as starting at a later room of the house.
-Femdom should be there before Christmas with more on the way!
-The hotter chicks thing gave me pause. I know they are not to everyone's taste but I am curious the girl type you are more looking for. I probably can't give something for all tastes but feel free to pm me some examples. I have added like 1% asian in my latest version coming but I want to add more, it is tough to do with the focus I currently have.

This is though thing to crack in all teases, since we all have so different taste. Personally I find Anissa to be my least preferred girl, while all others are above average or stunning. There are no Asian or Ebony in this tease, and that suits me personally, while others have the opposite preference.

I guess the only way to make it work for all would be to have like 20 optional girls in the settings, and every player selected their top 10 to be the ones used in the game. But I don't see that feasible from a developers point of view, as it would basically double the implementation work. Or perhaps even more than double, with all combinations and alternatives to take into account...

Hey, indyc, fantastic job in creating such an amazing tease. Definitely 5 star ++. Really love the concept. Rather than the typical "stoke 100 times", this one is more like "do you want to see more? it will cost you lust and soul". And it works very well!

Some feedback:
  • At the beginning, I would give some options for the player to remove the purple hearts. Reasoning: 1) some people might start the tease, see the purple hearts, and think the whole tease is a censored one. They might unreasonably hit your ratings!; 2) It would be nice to have the option, at the cost of lust obviously
  • Asian girls would be great for the next version! I understand the challenge given a large % of asian is censored, but there are definitely more and more quality uncensored asian these days.
  • Would be very helpful to have a button to explain at the beginning what soul, lust, addiction and affection are
  • Bug: I ended once with affection of -1, 1, 1, 1 and zero soul. But it said something along the lines of "this is the hardest ending to reach, because you have the same level of affection from everyone, yet zero soul. In my eyes you are a winner". Problem is I had -1 affection from someone, so it was not even!
  • Bug: I don't see my remaining "soul" on the right, only lust

Thank you and for making this your first post! I also had this concern and have been trying to get those options somewhat early. Do you mind saying what section most worried you? Perhaps I left one out.

In the latest unreleased version there is just a tiny bit of Asian but this one is hard for me to work in with my current format. Honestly I really want to have more Asian and have one idea for how there can be a tad more. There have been request for Ebony as well which I have even less of and don't know how to work in currently.

Ya... due to a miscalculation/miscoding?, not only is this ending not as rare as it was supposed to be but I still haven't done anything with it. I have plans for it but it will take a while. For now, I too hate it.

At first I didn't quite understand the emoji representation of Soul. (The flower wilts as you lose soul.) Now that I understand it, I think it is a really clever and unique part of the HUD. You are told exactly how much you have left fairly often, anyway. Just my two cents.

Thanks for noticing that that was my first post! I think maybe just a very quick note to the user during the first few times the hearts appear: ("you can make these hearts disappear with your choices throughout the tease"). I think it will go a long way in putting first time players at ease.

Ahh the flower wilting as you lose soul, I didn't notice that! It's really cool. I suppose in the next version you'd explain that in the intro?

What I mean is that I could find the sexiest photoset for a new girl ever. However, how do I work that into the story without diluting the core elements and flow? For now I was focusing my time on what I thought were the core elements even though I have expanded them a lot in the last few months and am barely keeping up. This has pretty much been "Scope Creep: The Game!" for a while now.

This is seriously one of the best, most fun adult games I've ever played!

It's way more than a tease. It's a single-player-campaign-style adult adventure game where you can do pretty much whatever you want. This game lets you try so many different things and has fully developed paths for each of those branches. A lot of times when you have multiple choices in a tease, each option has a short branch and/or doesn't affect the outcome much (if any) at all. In Trials of the Succubi, just about everything you do affects other things and ultimately how the outcome plays out.

It's a deep game, but you can also leave and come back to where you left off. Try it more than once and make different choices the second time, and you'll see what I mean.

Indyc has really created a monster here. :w00t:
