I think this is the best version in awhile. I felt threatened again and discovered new mysteries that I can't quite figure out. Reducing the gold drop doesn't seem harsh, so I think it was a good change. Thank you for your efforts.

I dislike the change to the strip timer being so short. It feels like I can barely see the picture, then it's gone. Before them stripping was a moment of anticipation and personally I enjoyed those moments a lot.

I noticed when trapped by Sarah's invitation the sound effect only plays on the first turn. After that its a silent struggle. I wish the sound kept playing.

I will play more later and I hope to figure out the new mysteries I found.

EDIT: I fought Kira but it seemed a bit boring. There's no sound effects. But it's a cool concept

I fixed the sound not looping at the Sarah encounter

And yeah, I also think that the stripping animations may be a little too fast, I opted to reduce their time to avoid too much repetition and make the gameplay a little more fluid, but I'll see what I can do about that.

Hi, amazing as usual. I have to say the balancing on the gold really makes the game alot more interesting, albeit I'm finding it a little bit more repetitive and slow than before. I don't mean to sound harsh, but these are my 2 cents.

On an unlucky streak (I hope it was that and not a result of balancing) now it requires a lot more days to get both the backpack and access to the forge, which means the game progress slowly and with more grinding than before.

On another note, what I'm seeing right now is that you are adding more content to late game (obviously) but each time we want to see the new content it requires a lot of time just to get there. I suggest you add some controlled cheating in the game (like old school cheat codes in AoE, like a code to to add gold) so that we have a chance to progress faster, for these beta builds. I simply love all the characters in the forest, but I'm starting to get fed up with them, if I have to defeat them for 4-5 days straight each time I want to see a different ending.

I mean, if this was my first time playing the game, I wouldn't have this critiques, I was dying to try the new content, but as I played I found myself fighting between "I want to see the new content" and " I have to face Anna again?" and is really a bummer, because I love this game so much.

I think adding the amazon event in the forest is a great idea, really spices up the game.

I haven't had the chance to try the new boss fight, couldn't find it. I think maybe you should make it more evident that there is a quest for an hidden boss.

I have to say the hammer is a devastating addition (as I said in the previous release, I really love mauling through enemies) and I also loved a lot the confusion mechanics.

Also, one thing that looks bad is when enemies use an action to get a lust increase based on player increase; if the player is at 0, it make it seems like it's bugged. Maybe you should make it so that such actions increase the enemy lust by max (playerlust, 5), so to ensure a little bit of increase anyhow

Keep up the amazing wok you are doing with this project, relly loving the result.

Thanks for the effort you put into this :) I really enjoy the game! With the concept and mechanisms you selected, it is a very refreshing addition to the webteases here! Definitely my favourite at the moment.

Started playing in the previous version (0.8d), and fun to see the new content in this version. Today I was surprised to stumble onto some content I had yet not seen, which I assume was already there in the previous version. Exciting when that happens!

Still trying to figure how some of the content works in this version :) I think the balance is very nice at the moment. It feels challenging, and there are times when I'm steamrolling through enemies, but then I realize I was a bit careless, and think "oh crap!" when I run into someone I shouldn't run into. Had a few runs where I got impatient and wanted to get to later content, and got screwed over (literally) by carelessness . Sometimes it's also very tempting to just intentionally lose a fight, when you assume you can afford recovering from the addictions/corruptions, until you realize you went a step too far, and lost the game . I think that illustrates how well designed the scenarios/encounters are

As someone commented above, it could be nice with a small boost to get a quicker start when exploring content, then again, the risk of being careless and having to start from scratch is also nice in it's own way, and keeps it challenging.

It could be interesting with consumables for use in battle, such as HP/Lust potions or perhaps even a "town portal" scroll, to get out of a situation that is hopeless.

Another interesting thing would be the ability to keep spare-items in the backpack, e.g. an extra set of clothes. Perhaps the ability could be bought as an add-on, or a "large backpack" etc.

When going to the swamp a lot, I tend to lose my clothes over and over again When traveling to such harsh climates, keeping an extra pair of pants would be common sense

A small "bug" or annoyance that would be nice to see fixed, is when you have leveled up all available perks, you can't get rid of the "A new perk is available" text. It would be great if this text could be removed once all perks are chosen, as it makes it difficult to see the HP/Lust status when in the campsite.

Of course, this is something I expect only happens far after the "official" game is over, after the 15th day, so I of course understand if it is not a priority. But, if it happens to be easy to fix, it would be a nice cosmetic change.

I get what you're saying, I too share this tedious feeling whenever I'm testing a new version and have to face the exact same enemies. Things only start to get better when i get into to the deep forest.

One of the reasons I've reduced the gold gain is to encourage players to move forward earlier. I have a feeling that maybe the deep forest is too difficult and prevents this movement, but I'm trying to balance it so that the player can have the same (or better) incentives when deciding to take the risk and move to the Deep Forest. I've also been studying the possibility of lowering the cost of the backpack, since this is one of the items that players prefer to buy before advancing in the game.

That being said, I'm not against cheat codes, but with the addition of the Boss Rush on v0.9 the main route is now complete and I can focus on improving the player experience before reaching the end of that route, that means new enemies, events and more stuff to do on the earlier areas.

Actually, more consumable are planned! I already have their pictures saved since v0.65, I just couldn't add them. With the addition of boss rush in v0.9, now it looks like the perfect opportunity

Ah! Great to know! I should have tested that before commenting :) I assumed it was simply a status-removal, and not an "item" as such. Next time I'll be prepared when venturing into the swamp!

Any tips on how to find a new quest?
Have no idea what to do with the witch into Swamp and hidden cabin into the dark woods.

If you have all of your addictions set to 0, but you chose the lust perk "Choose an addiction and reduce it by 3 every night", you get stuck in an infinite loop... the night where you select the addiction to reduce brings you back to the last hour you played of the day if you select an addiction with 0 points :/ The workaround I found is I store lots of potions, so I can drink one of those to get to sleep I guess.

By the way, I've been playing these since v0.50c and absolutely love it! It gets better with every update, lol. Something I might recommend for a future update (if it's not too much trouble) is setting a difficulty level. I've essentially made it to the point where the game could go on infinitely every time I've played for the past 2 versions. Not sure if that would be difficult or not though...

If updating hp/attack stats would be too tough, maybe requiring defeating the "Level boss" before moving to the next area would be a better challenge? Or maybe removing locations like the statue, the lake, etc. to make removing addictions/corruption more difficult? Not sure, but it would be nice to have the option to either have a leisurely play-through or something more intense.

Is there a way to save in this? I really like it but I'd love to be able to come back to this and not have to start over.

It's a bit of a workaround, but if you play using a virtual machine (which can be practical for privacy), you can suspend the virtual machine in it's current state. You can then shut down your computer, or do whatever. When you boot up the virtual machine again, you will be where you left off. Not sure if there are cases where it times out or doesn't work.

It's very convenient if you want to keep progress for other webteases which uses cookies, but you're not comfortable being logged in, or saving cookies, in your normal browser.
