For me I just used Krita (its a free photo editing software) then grab photos of 3 girls, find some random borders online of whatever theme you want (I chose tarot cards that coincided with the girls) and do some basic editing (put pic of girl over pic of border, resizing or erasing parts as need be to make it look ok). Then get some background image themed with the pics (I got a table with cards for tarot, TheElephantMan did a stadium cuz he make his girls look like fighters with stats) and put them together. Adding text is pretty simple in most photo editors and they usually have a button/tool for it.

I really like how people are making these its super cool
