As usual, great update, it's impressive how much you manage to keep the game balanced while changing the mechanics. I only had the chance to play a little, but it's impressive.

I find it very satisfying mauling through enemies with 3 Attacks perks and the sword, almost makes me forget that I'm playing a game with sexual content :lol: :lol:

Just a small note on a possible typo (sorry if most my reports of stuff to fix are typos :rolleyes: )

I've given this game a few more tries since my initial playthrough. I think the latest changes makes the difficulty curve much more approachable and less RNG-based, since now you are not stuck at 12atk for the entire game and can get up to 18atk even if you are unlucky, which feels much better. The exp system also rewards combat, whereas previously, combat could sometimes feel pointless since often the gold costs of the addiction was more than the gold drops. I still think the early losses are quite punishing and it is generally easier to simply restart the game than to continue after losing an encounter.

The new encounters have been excellent and I love the creative dangers that the later enemies pose. I do wish that the holy amulet and champion's sword recipes could be purchased at some point (maybe after day 15) as the probability of acquiring both in a playthrough is about 4%, assuming you make it through to the point where you can defeat both bosses.

Dark woods, of course, has a lot of potential for a boss or new areas to encounter. It would kind of be nice to have a boss that is not instantly available but perhaps shows up by random chance or needs to be unlocked somehow (or maybe there already is, I just haven't found it). I also think it would be nice if there were more late-game goals. The scoring system is nice and all, but I think this style of game lends itself more to just being an open RPG that continues as long as you wish, and you can keep progressing until you hit an ending.

Also +1 for incorporating a way to save.

Overall, significantly improved from earlier versions. Keep up the great work :-)

I am very much enjoying the updates. The way the interactions work with the enemies in the new area are fantastic.

A couple of bugs:

In the Amazon encounter one with green text says "He keeps bouncing on..." (should probably be "She...")

Raven doesn't seem to progress past the "come here" page if you press wait.

Julia - When the status is changing (take these off, restraining) it is possible for lust to go over your max without triggering the orgasm event.
-Concentrate doesn't seem to do much as by the time you get there your handjob addiction is going to be fairly significant.
The HP return is not enough to offset the damage done and HP gets progressively more negative.

Ella - Sometimes after being defeated the dominated status remains
-Once I was defeated while having the enchanted mittens equipped. I passed the first addiction check. The dominated status did not stay, but my attack doubled. I have not been able to re-create the situation that led to that though.
A couple of thoughts:

Amazons - The extra time to attack the cage is a huge improvement. The balance between the strength of the cage and the number of events before you can't resist could use a little tweaking. I had 30 atk going in (took 4 hits to escape) and had 3 encounters. On the 3rd I was starting to lose the option to resist. I have only had the one run in with them so far, so I can't provide a lot of feedback, but it does play a lot better.

Jobs - I absolutely love the extra interactions that have been put into play, but they are Very unlikely to trigger (only ones I have found are cream and bj. Not sure if there are any others). The jobs do seem too short when you only get 4 slides.
I don't know what the min is set at, but to me having them go at least 5 seems better. A thought I had is to have the tip be somehow related to addiction level, where more addiction leads to a higher tip. That would make it more likely to take risks with addiciton/lust levels in the jobs, rather than just taking the job that you get the least lust from.
I have been enjoying all of this immensely and am looking forward to exploring this release more and for what is to come in the next iterations.

I loved the Jobs idea, I'll implement it for sure, maybe even on v0.85.

I've fixed most of the bugs with exception of the negative HP in Julia's Encounter, this one would require a few more adjustments. To be completely honest, her encounter was designed to be extremely difficult to recover after being defeated by her first stage, giving a false sense of hope to the player... Maybe lowering the total Corruption gained from 10 to 5 would make things a little more balanced...

The power creep that the perk system introduced was kind of big. When I initially read the perks I assumed each one replaced the previous tier, however that is not the case, instead each tier stacks additively which is very detrimental to the game. I was hitting for 21 dmg per hit before I even moved into the swamp with just a knife. Granted my run was a little lucky from finding a blue potion early on that covered all my day 1-3 gold farming, that’s kind of ridiculous damage. Definitely would recommend re-balancing the perks for 9.0 or hotfix it so they don’t stack additively.

Okay, MAJOR bug discovered.
If you have enough corruption to trigger dreams, but you've also managed to wipe out the last of your addiction points through church visits (I assume same applies to blue potions and other means), then when you next go to bed, the game will just hang permanently.

I'd been building my character up over the course of several hours, FINALLY got lucky enough to score the Fallen Champion Sword and was about to take my beefed up 'roided out hero to start smashing things up... :\'-(

Really good game framework though. If I could make one suggestion? You've got plenty of images in there now. Maybe now would be a good time to start fleshing out some of the interactions and personalities. There's plenty of scope for the jobs system, for example, as it's a bit weird to be seeing all these clients that just consist of a slideshow. You could really do some world building by adding in some dialogue about why they're going to see you, maybe more opportunities for them to turn tables on you as others have said.
You currently have a Walk Around button in the City that becomes meaningless once the locations are revealed. Maybe if you fucked the creampie client but resisted her bad end, using the Walk Around button would lead to encountering her again as a miniboss, out for revenge?
Maybe also give the option for added rewards if you do "cheat" the system with them. Currently, even the best outcome by obliging one of them results in walking away with more corruption than the added gold can remove. Perhaps as well as the nefarious clients, one is just a bored housewife ("Thanks so much for that, I really needed it. Here, take this but don't tell the staff!" <hands red/purple/blue potion>). Would make it less obvious that you always want to turn them down, no matter what.

Also, just personal opinion but PLEASE don't adjust the perks to replacement levels rather than cumulative. This game started off as literally impossible, in that corruption was inevitable. Every release makes the game more balanced and always seems to attract posts of "no please make it harder again".
It's now at the point where you have to be on the ball, but you can actually improve your character. If the intention was to reverse that back towards inevitable corruption, I'd lose interest in the project. Maybe if the requests continue, just add a "Nightmare Mode" where your stats are halved? XD

Of course I have no problem with a 'normal' mode that is easy for people who can't grasp the mechanics, and a 'hero' mode for people who want some challenge. But don't pretend that the game was 'literally impossible' just because you found it was harder than you would like.

I personally found the game far more interesting when it felt more threatening.

Hi,

I also found bugs. After captured by the amazones the sucking sound never stops, even when you are at the base.

Zoe in the dark swamp only has 50 HP, so she was defeated very easiely.

But great game as always. Makes a lot of fun.

Maybe inevitable was the wrong word. But, as somebody said at the time, it was absolutely the luck of the draw (not a failure to "grasp the mechanics" which are perfectly straightforward, thanks) re finding potions etc as to whether you could avoid slipping to corruption. In the first build, fighting enemies was always a net addiction gain as the hits outweighed the gold, requiring blue potion drops and statue encounters to prevent it climbing continuously higher. This is now possible to mitigate without as much reliance on RNG..
As things currently stand, you can work round unlucky RNG rather than be doomed by it.

Zoe in the dark swamp only has 50 HP, so she was defeated very easiely.

But great game as always. Makes a lot of fun.
I think Zoe's low HP is kind of the point - lulls you into a false sense of security. You have to have increased your attack power somehow to 17 or above to beat her or you will lose.
I quite liked her addiction mechanic tbh. Real sense of danger as opposed to loss scene, addiction/corruption points, repeat.

Hi great game so far.
Played since version 0.6 and i must say this 0.8 is a very welcome improvement.
Difficulty wise the perks make it a hell of a lot easier to play. Before a run would die if i lost twice or even just bad luck on blue pots.
But this time i was able to defeat all battles 5+ times in like 30 something days.
New craftables also help ease alot of the danger in battles. Still not had any area boss rare loot drops on any playthrough. Bad rng :-/
Seen all the endings so far, took me a while to find the city one. I would like to see a checklist for bad endings in a later vesion as more get added.
I used to have problems in earlier versions with blue pots. But now with the new additions it makes it more practical to throw gold at addictions as you can save up so much gold now. Thankyou perks.

A few suggestions:

I feel some areas need more detrimental scenes like the woman who steals your clothes in deep forrest. Maybe a random addiction spike or doubles that addiction for the day. Just some punishment i cant just spam run away with.

With Anastasia's defeat scene it suggests you go back later for another round, Also lucy has a simular scene for shemale addiction.
I would like to see something added where you can return to these , maybe a bad end or some bonus item could be obtained though this.

The zoe event is great, loved that your character gets obsessed with her after a defeat.
Would like to see more events like that. Maybe some sort of findom event that takes your gold.
Also i would like a chance to get the boss drop items. Maybe some thing you can buy or collect that garentees the rare loot as a 1 time thing. Ok maybe im just bitter that im not lucky on that one.
All in all its a fantastic game so far and look forward to later versions.
