For my DIY kit, the blue/yellow combination signal was an immediate shutoff due pain. it didn´t feel good, it wasn´t good pain, it was just pure pain.
Maybe the signal is 2B optimized? Maybe this sequence doesn´t do well in triphase?
I´m wondering where I go wrong here as nobody besides Mr.GoGoGirls has reported on the signals being too sharp.
I have a 2B.
I had a lot of trouble with stereo stim originally, until I sent the signal from one of the files -I think it was estim with Micayla through a mixing board (I was a musician in a previous life).
I figured out that it was clipping (overloading the channels), so I either had a signal that was way too powerful, or I couldn't feel it at all using the surround track.
I was trying to control it through the 2B, but the digital signal processor (DSP) didn't have anything to work with.
You can see this if you go into stereo mode, and play the stim signal, and then adjust the output on the player. Once the signal is low enough, you'll see the bars on the display change from L: |||||||||| R: |||||||||| to something that moves up and down along with the beats.
If you keep the signal at about 75%, the edge signal won't flood the signal processor.
The surround channel stim is still a problem for me because I like my Cock Hero music LOUD, but there's no real way to attain that and keep the stim signal from overloading the DSP in the 2B.
I went back to using a separate unit (my iphone) for the stim, and have had a lot more luck.
There is still the problem of the DSP having a slight delay, especially after clipping, which can be distracting.
An analog DIY estim kit doesn't do any compression or smoothing of the signal, but it's just as susceptible to clipping and sharp spikes from volume changes.
Try using the triphase setting again, but have the volume of your player (I use VLC) and the computer much lower. If the lower volume works for you, you can download the mp3 stim track and run it simultaneously with the video, and crank the audio back up again.
There is also a lot to be said about which electrodes you are using, the placement, and the adhesion.
If an electrode isn't sticking properly, it can be incredibly painful because the surface area of the signal is highly concentrated in the areas where contact is made.
In general, the larger the 'trode area, the more attenuated (weaker) the signal. a 2 inch round or square is much smoother than a 1/4 inch thick loop.
Also, the closer together the 'trodes are, the more signal. having both signals on the perineum in a biphase was always hot for me.
for my favorite configuration, I use a 2" round mono pad on the perineum, a 1/4 loop around the shaft and testes, and an ElectraStim Habanero biphase prostate stimulator inserted. the wiring is pretty simple:
both red lead wires (one from each channel) go to the Habanero, and the black wires go to the perineum pad and the loop.
I get the pads and rubber loops and such from Current Pleasures (
www.currentpleasures.com), which someone around here at Milovana pointed me to when I was originally shopping for gear.
Good luck, and happy stimming

P.S. the Electrastim Habanero is by far the best toy I've got. it's size is perfect, and it's sturdy. all the other prostate stimulators I've had have all been too short, too wide, or too flimsy.
I'll stop typing now before I get admonished for not using the Hardware and Teledildonics forum...
