[RELEASE/FEEDBACK] The Goddess of Lust!

Hi guys!

After a ton of testing and useful feedback, I've finally managed to get Goddess of Lust into a releasable state!

In this tease, you take on the role of an acolyte of Lustra, Goddess of Lust, who has traveled to a temple so as to worship Her properly. You will recieve visions and edge; you can choose when your worship session ends, but She will choose whether you finish!

It's meant to be a long tease, and meant to be repeatable. I've put nearly every hentai image I possess, so there are thousands of images.

In case you saw the pre-release stuff and worry about being forced to see stuff you don't wanna, never fear! I put in the legwork to sort all of the images into Furry and Non-Furry, as well as the basic divisions of preference.

Let me know what you think! This was a huge project.

As always, please let me know if there are any TOS-violating images (I don't think there are, but many eyes are better at finding that kind of stuff), and tell me about any bugs!

A very well-made tease in my opinion. I have mostly just tested it so far and played a bit but I am interested in playing it soon again so I might post my full feedback after playing it again. And I rated it 5 stars, I think you deserve it

The main reason I decided to write some feedback before playing it enough is to clear up some things. I couldn't understand how the "focus edge" work exactly. You have to wait for a vision that has the specified tag and edge to it, right? I guess I got a bit confused because whether the image actually contained the tag or not, the outcome is the same - the goddess is pleased. But now I realize that checkign whether the image actually has this tag or not would be too tedious (every pic would need to be tagged). So I guess it's just up to the player to be honest. Anyway, I think my suggestion would be to implement a button somewhere at the start of the tease, before choosing a chamber, to read the rules again on consecutive visits.

Then a minor detail. The question "Would you like to see furries today?" and the answers to it is somewhat confusing after you have just set up the preferences, I would expect it to be one of the preference settings, and the answers are very confusing tbh xD

Also, just a question. I wonder if you meant the skip button to be cheap? I noticed it always costs less than what a vision gives, so even if you skip visions constantly you will still receive lust. Which is actually not bad I think, it might be fine, but I feel like it does become a bit unbalanced when you receive an order from the goddess (she tells you to stroke in a special way for 8 visions for example) and you can just skip all those 8 visions fast with barely any cost. Maybe this could be a good set-up for difficulty levels? The higher the difficulty the more skipping costs for example. Just an idea!

Or maybe the idea of the tease is not exactly that. Maybe it's actually meant to be more of a relaxed, not difficult meditation. In which case it seems to be quite a nice atmosphere for that. I think the tease is already good and has a nice foundation, and with some additions, perhaps from what people suggest, it would become even better.

Either way. I just love seeing a well-made hentai tease here

To answer some of your questions:

Yup, you got it. You’re supposed to edge for visions that contain whatever the focus is. Not only would tagging the images be tedious, but EOS actually provides no way to tag anything at all! I would have to make a page for each image, and there are over 3000 images, so... yeah. Honor system!

Yea, I intend the skip button to have a small cost, but not much. It’s meant to allow you to skip images that you just don’t like/that’s ruining the mood for you. I don’t want to penalize people too hard for having preferences I can’t program. That extends to instructions you don’t like, too. So overall I’m fine with the skipping. (The instructions would hopefully make the session more fun, tho, not less fun)

As for the furries question, I am not sure how else to say it. It’s not like the other preferences, which are binary choices. There are people who want both, just hentai, or just furry. The main problem with putting that choice directly alongside the other options is a problem of real estate. The “Straight” option is already starting to disappear into the image above, and adding three buttons to the row would make it too wide. (The first issue is worse than the second, admittedly)

This can be solved by using two (or more) buttons for each option, but only showing one at a time depending on the setting state using an appropriate expression in the options' "Visible" eval, like I do in the settings for FapJack, explained here.

I went all the way. The reason either straight or gay was required was because Beast, Tentacle, and Futa all were modified by whether you wanted straight or gay (i.e. whether the beast/tentacle/futa was fucking a male or a female). Instead of that flawed system, I've now given each of those hybrid categories specific control. Now it only checks that you have SOMETHING enabled, but it doesn't care what you have enabled. :)

It was a bunch of work, but I think your suggestion has made a better tease. Thank you!
